ActiveLayer

by Awesome Motive, Inc.

Overview

ActiveLayer stops spam on website forms, comments, registrations and reviews without CAPTCHAs. Connect your ActiveLayer account to review recent spam checks with their verdicts, scores and submitted fields, see your plan allowance and usage, and correct a false positive or false negative. Test a sample message against the detector, or create a project for a WordPress site, a Lovable app or a custom application and follow its setup instructions. What the connector can read: your projects and their API key status, your plan usage, and your detection records, which can include submitted message text, sender names and email addresses, website URLs and IP addresses. What it can change: it can create projects and submit or replace feedback on a detection. It cannot delete anything, change billing, or return API keys. Keys are generated in your ActiveLayer dashboard and copied directly into your site configuration, never into chat. Demo checks send the supplied fields to ActiveLayer's detection service under a separate first-party demo account. They are limited to 30 per account per hour and do not use your plan allowance or appear in your detection history. A demo result does not verify that your website integration is installed or working. Requires an ActiveLayer account with the short account setup completed. A free plan is enough.

Tools

check_submission

ChatGPT
Score a form submission through the ActiveLayer detection API and return the verdict, score and threshold. Useful to test an integration or demonstrate the detector. Runs with ActiveLayer's own demo key, so it does not use the account's quota and does not appear in list_detections. Limited to 30 checks per hour; real traffic belongs on a project API key.

create_project

ChatGPT
Create an ActiveLayer project for a site or app and return its dashboard URL and integration instructions. The user generates the API key in the authenticated dashboard and copies it directly into the site configuration; never ask them to paste it into chat. Check list_projects first, and reuse an existing project for the same site instead of creating another.

get_detection

ChatGPT
Fetch one spam check by its detection_id: the submitted fields, verdict, overall score, threshold, and any feedback. Use it to review a submission that was blocked or allowed.

get_usage

ChatGPT
Show the account plan, its spam-check allowance, how many checks have been used, and how many remain. Free plans count checks for the lifetime of the account; paid plans reset monthly.

list_detections

ChatGPT
List recent spam checks for this account, newest first: verdict, overall score, threshold, sender, message excerpt, and any feedback already given. Filter by project, verdict, and how many days back to look. Detections are matched to a project through its current API key, so checks made with a key that was later regenerated show no project. Use get_detection for the submitted fields and feedback details.

list_projects

ChatGPT
List the ActiveLayer projects in this account. Each project is one protected site or app with its own API key. Returns the platform, key status, and any WordPress sites that have connected with the key. Call this before create_project to avoid duplicates.

report_feedback

ChatGPT
Tell ActiveLayer whether a detection was really spam or not. Use it when a legitimate message was blocked (false positive) or spam got through (false negative). Feedback improves future verdicts for this account. Calling it again replaces the earlier feedback.
