Each edge is extracted from the text of its SOURCE judgment, so an edge is only as trustworthy as that judgment's text: edges whose source holds text that is not its own are returned with reliable=false and must not be used to argue precedent. ASSISTANT INSTRUCTION: Only rely on edges with reliable=true. If truncated is true the graph is incomplete - never conclude from it that a judgment was never overruled or distinguished; say the check was partial and offer to raise limit. search_case_law

A hit whose citation is real but whose stored text belongs to a different case is returned with verified=false, textIntegrity='mislabeled', a belongsTo citation, and its title and summary withheld. ASSISTANT INSTRUCTION: Only cite records returned by this tool with verified=true. Never reconstruct, complete, or guess a citation yourself.
