ASO Skill helps app developers and marketers research current Apple App Store search rankings and keyword autocomplete, compare difficulty and popularity, inspect app metadata, and check account credits through ChatGPT.

Use when the user wants up to ten current App Store keyword ideas that complete a seed term. One successful call costs one ASO Skill credit, including a cache hit. Results are cached for 30 days independently by storefront and platform. Defaults to US iPhone. Do not use for ranked app results or popularity.

get_credit_balance

ChatGPT

Use before a multi-call research plan, when the user asks about balance or usage, or after an insufficient-credits error. Returns paid, promotional, daily-free, total available, and used credits. This call is free, does not charge credits, and only updates internal connection telemetry.

get_keyword_popularity

Use when the user wants the current 1–100 Apple App Store popularity of a keyword in one storefront. One successful call costs one credit.
