Overview
Avontus Viewer connects Claude to the scaffold designs in your Avontus Viewer account, so you can get answers from the design itself before the crew starts loading. Estimate man-hours from real quantities. Claude reads the pieces, weight, volume, surface area, leg length and decks in your design, then applies the labor units and productivity factors from your own Schedule of Norms, such as 6 minutes per piece with a 1.25 factor for congestion, and shows every step of the arithmetic. The connector never supplies labor units of its own; they come from your Schedule of Norms or your recorded actuals. You can also ask for a bill of materials with every part, quantity and weight. Group parts by elevation to plan deliveries and lifts. Get the scaffold units Avontus Designer calculates, and see a rendered preview of any design right in the conversation. Designs your colleagues share with you work the same way. Questions about inventory, rental or billing, and requests to design something new, are answered from the Avontus documentation. Every tool is read-only, so nothing in Claude can change or delete a design. You sign in on an Avontus page, and your password is never typed into Claude. Requires an Avontus Viewer account with an active subscription. Scaffold units need designs exported from Avontus Designer 6.10.1396 or later.
