BBQAdvisor

Overview
BBQAdvisor is a smoking coach for low-and-slow barbecue: plan the cook before you light the smoker, check in when the probe has you second-guessing, and find out afterward why it came out the way it did. Plan a cook and you get one screen with the whole thing: a backwards-planned timeline from when you want to eat, the USDA-safe minimum and the done temperature where the cut actually gets tender, stall guidance, whether and when to wrap, a rub recipe scaled in tablespoons to your exact weight or rack count, wood pairings, and resting and holding notes. Every number is computed in code from BBQAdvisor's cut-parameter tables, not estimated, so the temperatures and timings are the same ones the app would give you. Mid-cook, enter your probe temperature and how long it has been on, and add a photo if you want a bark read. You get a straight verdict - on track, in the stall, wrap now, almost done, or done - instead of chasing a temperature that is not moving. Afterward, photograph the sliced cross-section and log it. BBQAdvisor reads the bark, smoke ring, moisture and tenderness, scores the cook, and tells you what to change next time. Logged cooks build a library you can version and compare, so the same cut on the same rig gets better run over run - which is the whole point of keeping records. Fresh sausage has its own plan and check tools, with the safe-handling numbers held separately from the smoking numbers. Cook plans are free and unlimited. Mid-cook checks, logging and run-over-run comparison are part of Pro. Public share cards are free for everyone.
