Overview

Blikst finds tradespeople and local services in Norway for you and asks them for quotes, right in the conversation. How it works 1. Describe the job in Norwegian or English and say where it is, for example an EV charger at home in Oslo, staining a cabin in Hemsedal or a bathroom renovation. 2. Blikst opens a short form in the chat. You type your own name, phone number and e-mail there and agree to Blikst's privacy policy. Nothing is sent before you send the form. 3. Blikst finds up to three companies that suit the job and the place and sends them your request. They contact you with their quotes, and you decide whether to accept one. You can ask later whether your request has been sent and which companies have it. What Blikst covers About 90 kinds of work for homes, cabins and businesses: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, roofers, tilers, bathroom and kitchen renovation, heat pumps and solar panels, gardeners, tree felling and snow clearing, cabin care, cleaning, moving, locksmiths, pest control and property surveyors, and business services such as accountants, lawyers, IT and marketing. See the companies If you would rather see who is there, Blikst shows the companies it lists for the job and the place, with their services, areas, organisation number and website. You can ask one of them for a quote. What Blikst does not do It does not list every company in an area or rank companies by quality, does not give out companies' phone numbers or e-mail addresses, does not book appointments or take payments, and covers jobs in Norway only. No account is needed.

Lists companies in Blikst's catalogue that offer a service in a place in Norway: up to eight, with name, place, services, areas, website and organization number, shown as cards with each company's profile and a Get quotes button that opens Blikst's request form. Use it when the person asks which companies offer a job in a place, or wants to choose a company themselves. The list holds the companies Blikst lists there: it is not every company in the area, and it is not ranked or rated by quality. Takes service from find_services, or job in the person's words, and where the job is: a town, cabin area, municipality or postal code. When the catalogue lists no company there, the card shows the request form instead. Each call draws its own card, and its cards already open the request form, so request_service adds a second form to the same answer. get_service_provider returns one listed company's details without a card.

find_services

Matches a job in Norway, described in Norwegian or English ("måke snø på hytta", "tett avløp", "EV charger installation"), to Blikst's service keys for find_service_providers and request_service, closest match first, and says when Blikst does not cover a kind of job. Use it when someone in Norway needs a tradesperson or local service for a home, cabin or business, asks who does a job or what it costs, or wants quotes. Blikst is a Norwegian quote service (anbudstjeneste) covering about 90 kinds of work: electricians and electrical inspections, plumbers, carpenters and decks, painters, roofers and gutters, tilers, bathroom and kitchen renovation, heat pumps and solar panels, landscapers and paving, tree felling, snow clearing, cabin care and cabin watch, cleaning and window washing, moving, locksmiths, pest control, property surveyors and condition reports, and business services such as accountants, lawyers, IT and marketing. Blikst has no price list: companies answer a request with quotes for the actual job. find_service_providers and request_service also take the job in words, so this step is optional before them.

get_request_status

Returns the status of a quote request sent through Blikst's form, and the companies it was sent to. Takes the requestId and statusToken the form shares after sending.

get_service_provider

Returns one company's profile from an earlier find_service_providers result: its services, the areas it covers, a short description, organization number and website. Takes the company's id from that result. Shows no card: the company cards already hold this profile and a button to ask the company for a quote.

request_service

Claude

Shows Blikst's request form (anbudsforespørsel), filled in with the job and place passed in. Use it when someone in Norway wants a job done or wants quotes for it. The person enters their own name, phone number and e-mail in the form, ticks consent to the privacy policy and sends it. Nothing is sent before that, and requests are sent from this form only. Blikst sends the request to up to three companies that offer the service in that place, and they contact the person with quotes. Takes service from find_services, or job in the person's words, from which Blikst fills in the closest service or lets the person pick it. Pass business_id only for a company the person chose from find_service_providers. Returns the form's contents. Each call draws its own form, and find_service_providers' cards already open it.

send_quote_request

Claude

Sends a quote request from Blikst's request form, with the details the person typed and the consent they ticked there. Only the form calls it: a call needs the token the form holds and is refused without it, so a request for quotes starts with request_service. Returns the request's status, the companies it was sent to and a statusToken for get_request_status. The same request sent again within 24 hours is recognised and not sent twice.
