Read a word, phrase or sentence aloud and BoldVoice scores every word from 0 to 100, highlights the words that need work, and shows how you said each one next to how it should sound. Choose your own sentence or start with one from BoldVoice, take up to three tries, and ask ChatGPT to explain your result and the sounds to work on. No download, account or login needed. Your recording is sent to BoldVoice for analysis only when you stop recording.

Deletes every recording, result, result link and practice card that BoldVoice can match to this ChatGPT user in this app; ChatGPT identifies the user separately in each BoldVoice app, so the other app needs its own request. Usage statistics (counts, codes and timings, never recordings or text) are kept. Cannot be undone. Takes no arguments.

ChatGPTUse this when the user asks about, or wants an explanation of, their BoldVoice pronunciation result; pass the ref from their message. Returns the result of that recording: overall score, word scores and focus words. After a scored result with focus words, the text summary may end with a suggested next practice text that pairs BoldVoice’s example word for each weakest sound with the words that missed it; the user can practice it by opening a new BoldVoice pronunciation card with that text. A card ref (such as K7QMX-2XPD4) reads the latest recording in that card, including after the user starts over in the card; a ref with an extra part (such as K7QMX-2XPD4-HJ7KQP), which Explain in ChatGPT sends, reads exactly that recording, so pass it unchanged. Results are kept for 24 hours.

Opens a BoldVoice pronunciation practice card in the chat. Unlike showing how a word should sound, the card listens to the user say it and scores what they actually said. BoldVoice is an accent and pronunciation coaching app; the card needs no download, account or login. The user reads an English word, phrase, sentence or short paragraph (such as an interview answer) aloud, and BoldVoice scores each word and sound from 0 to 100 and shows which sounds to fix. The user may write in any language; the practice is in English. Pass supplied English text unchanged as text. For an interview answer or presentation opener without text, ask for the learner’s text or offer a clearly labeled sample; do not silently replace their intended text with a default. Without a specific text request, BoldVoice can pick a sentence. Not for other languages, grammar, translation or writing. The recording is sent to BoldVoice when the user stops recording.
