create_connect_link
ChatGPTCreate a link where the user, or a client of theirs, connects social media accounts to a workspace without a Breakreach login: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Mastodon, WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to, Hashnode, Tumblr or Google Business Profile (one account per business location). Give the URL to the person to open in a browser. It works for 24 hours unless expiresInHours says otherwise. Call list_accounts afterwards to get the new account ids.
create_dm_automation
ChatGPTCreate a DM automation on an Instagram account (or a Facebook Page, Messenger): when the trigger fires, Breakreach answers in the DM and walks the steps for that person. It only ever replies to something the person did, within Meta's 24-hour window; one flow per person at a time, and a person on the team answering by hand stops it. Example, follow to get the link: trigger {type:"keyword",keywords:["GUIDE"]}, steps [{type:"condition",check:"follows",yes:[{type:"message",text:"Here it is {username}!",button:{title:"Open the guide",url:"https://..."}}],no:[{type:"message",text:"Follow me first, then tap below",choices:[{label:"I followed",steps:[...]}]}]}].
create_post
ChatGPTCreate a social media post: schedule it (explicit time or next free slot), publish immediately, or save it as a draft. Media must be public URLs — use upload_media first for reliable hosting. Media is REQUIRED for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, except for drafts. Instagram: one photo is a feed post, one video a Reel, and 2 to 10 files (photos and videos, in order) a carousel whose photos are all cropped to the first photo's shape. Facebook Pages take up to 10 photos in one post, or one video. LinkedIn posts one MP4 video alone, or turns 2 to 20 photos into a carousel (a PDF document, one page per photo, all cropped to the first photo's shape, titled with the first line), and posts a PDF URL as a document. Pinterest also requires pinterestBoardId (use list_pinterest_boards), and takes one image or one MP4/MOV video; an image sent with the video becomes its cover. WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to and Hashnode publish an article: the first line of content is its title, the rest the body in Markdown, the first photo the cover image (Dev.to and Hashnode don't take videos; Hashnode needs Hashnode Pro on the blog). Tumblr posts the text with up to 30 photos or one video. articleSettings sets their tags, canonical URL, draft, Ghost newsletter and Dev.to AI disclosure. Google Business Profile posts a "What's new" update on the location: up to 1,500 characters and one photo (no video), with an optional button set in googleBusinessSettings. scheduledAt is interpreted in the workspace timezone.
create_workspace
ChatGPTCreate a workspace for a new brand or client. Each workspace has its own connected accounts, posts and posting schedule; pass its slug as workspace to the other tools.
delete_dm_automation
ChatGPTDelete a DM automation for good, with its stats and runs; people in the flow stop. To stop it for a while instead, use update_dm_automation with active false.
delete_post
ChatGPTDelete a post by id. Scheduled posts are unscheduled; published posts are only removed from Breakreach, not from the platforms.
get_account_stats
ChatGPTGet account-level stats for every connected account: followers, plus last-28-day views, reach, engagement and profile views where the platform exposes them (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, X, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Telegram, Mastodon, Hashnode, Tumblr, Ghost members). Cached up to 1 hour.
get_account_trends
ChatGPTDaily account-level trends over the last N days (max 90), straight from the platforms' insights: Facebook Pages (views, engagement, total followers), Instagram (reach) and Threads (views), with a summary per account (totals and follower change). Works even for days without new posts. Cached up to 1 hour unless refresh is true.
get_analytics
ChatGPTGet aggregated analytics for published posts: total views/likes/comments/shares and top performing posts.
get_content_performance
ChatGPTPer-post performance over the last N days (max 365): views, likes, comments, shares and engagement rate, with totals per platform. Covers ALL posts on the connected Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, YouTube and Bluesky accounts, including posts not made with Breakreach. Use sortBy + limit for top posts, e.g. sortBy=views, limit=10. Cached up to 1 hour unless refresh is true.
get_conversation_messages
ChatGPTRead the messages of one direct message conversation, oldest first. Take conversationId, accountId and participantId from list_conversations (participantId is required for X).
get_next_slot
ChatGPTGet the next free posting slot from the workspace's configured posting schedule (a time not already taken by a scheduled post). Useful to answer 'when should I post next?'.
get_post_insights
ChatGPTEverything about one post on a connected account, including posts not published with Breakreach: caption, media, every lifetime metric the platform exposes (views, reach, reactions by type, clicks, saves, profile visits, reel plays, watch time, video retention curve...), its comments, and a comparison with the account's average post. Take accountId and postId (the platform post id, field id) from get_content_performance.
get_post_metrics
ChatGPTGet views, likes, comments and shares for one post published with Breakreach, plus the platform post ids it went out to. Set refresh to pull fresh numbers from the platforms first.
list_accounts
ChatGPTList connected social media accounts (id, platform, display name). Use the returned ids as accountIds when creating posts.
list_conversations
ChatGPTList direct message conversations, newest first, on the connected Facebook Pages (Messenger), Instagram and X accounts. Returns each conversation id, accountId, participantId and last message. Accounts whose messages can't be loaded are listed in errors with the reason (for example missing message access).
list_dm_automations
ChatGPTList DM automations: flows of messages, waits, conditions and handoffs that Breakreach runs in Instagram DMs (and Messenger for Facebook Pages) when someone DMs a keyword, mentions the account in a story, replies to a story or opens a ref link. Each shows its trigger, steps, ref link, whether it's on, and stats (started, completed, handed off, link clicks, failed). Pass automationId to also get its latest runs: who triggered it, each step sent, choices tapped, clicks, and how it ended (completed, handed off, stopped because a human answered, 24-hour window closed, failed with the error).
list_pinterest_boards
ChatGPTList the Pinterest boards of the workspace's connected Pinterest account. Required before creating a post targeting Pinterest.
list_posts
ChatGPTList posts in the workspace with status, schedule time, and metrics for published posts.
list_workspaces
ChatGPTList the user's Breakreach workspaces (slug, name, timezone). Most tools accept an optional workspace slug; when omitted, the first workspace is used.
send_message
ChatGPTSend a direct message reply on Facebook (Messenger), Instagram or X. Instagram and Messenger only accept replies within 24 hours of the person's last message. Use accountId plus conversationId and/or participantId from list_conversations.
update_dm_automation
ChatGPTChange a DM automation: name, trigger, steps (the whole list, as returned by list_dm_automations; keep the step ids of steps you don't change so people in the flow carry on), reentry, or pause/resume it with active. Only the fields given change. Get the id from list_dm_automations.
update_post
ChatGPTEdit a draft, scheduled or failed post: text, media, target accounts, time or platform options. Only the fields you pass change. Passing scheduledAt, useNextSlot or publishNow schedules the post, which also retries a failed post or schedules a draft; draft: true moves it back to drafts. Published posts can't be edited.
upload_media
ChatGPTDownload a media file (image or video) from a public URL and host it on Breakreach storage. Returns a permanent URL to use in create_post. Use this to ensure media stays available for scheduled posts.
