Overview

Carico Log is a strength-training log for iPhone and Apple Watch. This connector lets Claude turn a conversation into a real program in the app: weeks, days, exercises, sets, reps, rest, percentages of 1RM, set-by-set targets, supersets and circuits. How it works: 1. get_program_format gives Claude the program format and the rules the app follows. 2. find_exercises matches exercise names in any language to the app's catalog of 168 illustrated exercises, with close alternatives when there is no exact match. 3. check_program validates a program and lists anything to fix before import. 4. create_import_link returns a link that opens the program in Carico Log on the person's iPhone, where they review it before adding it. 5. request_feature lets Claude note, in generic terms, something the format cannot express yet, so we can improve it. Privacy: no account and no sign-in. The connector keeps no request log. A program sent to create_import_link is encrypted with a key that exists only in the link, so we cannot read it, and it is deleted after 7 days. Feature requests carry only generic descriptions, never the person's values. Requirements: Carico Log on iPhone (free on the App Store). Opening a program to read it is free; keeping and following programs requires Carico Log Pro (yearly subscription, one month free). Available in 13 languages.

Tools

check_program

Claude
Reads a caricoprog program exactly as Carico Log will, and returns the normalized program, errors (it would not import), warnings (what was corrected or looks wrong) and how many exercises matched the catalog. Nothing is stored.

find_exercises

Claude
Looks exercise names up in the Carico Log catalog, the way the app does (any of its thirteen languages, plurals, equipment in parentheses). For each name: the matching catalog id, or the three closest entries with their muscle and equipment so you can choose an id — only if it is the same movement with the same equipment — or keep a custom exercise.

get_program_format

Claude
Returns the rules, the exercise catalog and a full example of the caricoprog format (version 3), the JSON Carico Log imports. Call it before writing a program for Carico Log.

request_feature

Claude
Tells the Carico Log developer that the format is missing something: information the person gave that fits no field, or a field you could not fill. Write a GENERIC description of the missing capability (e.g. "tempo per set", "rest that differs between sets"). Never include names, contact details, health information, anything personal, or the person's program. Requests are collected into one daily summary sent to Nidello; the person's program is never sent.
