Chatmu

Chatmu is the MCP connector for the music industry, built for artists, managers, A&Rs, bookers, and music industry professionals. Under the motto "AI for the industry, humans for the music," it connects Claude to real music industry data and automates much of the operational workload that typically falls on these roles, so users can focus on creative and strategic decisions. Authentication happens via OAuth 2.0, using the account users already have on chatmu.io. The connector brings together around 132 active tools. It covers real-time artist analytics — stats, audience demographics, fan retention, growth trajectory, and listener geography — along with discovery and A&R capabilities, letting users find emerging artists, global superstars, genre competitors, and strategic collaborators or opening acts. It also includes the complete music distribution flow, from creating a release draft to submitting it for review, with audio and cover art uploads, metadata editing, and an interactive wizard that guides the user step by step. On the networking and CRM side, it supports managing industry contacts, building pitches for playlist curators, and sending email — including mass campaigns capped at 500 recipients with a confirmation step before sending. Rounding out the toolset are charts, playlist, and radio tools for measuring editorial reach and spins, along with music video creation capabilities through templates and interactive widgets, plus a feature that detects AI-generated or AI-processed music.
