Overview

Clew is a learning workspace in ChatGPT. Start with what you already know and what you want to learn. ChatGPT helps turn that context into a path of connected topics and prerequisites, so you can see what to study next and what remains before your goal. Explore and discuss your learning graph with ChatGPT, inspect topics and resources, and ask AI to extend or refine your path. AI prepares proposed changes; you review them before applying them. Accepted changes create reversible snapshots. Sign in with GitHub or a Clew account to save a private workspace on Clew's infrastructure. GitHub sign-in requests profile and email access only; it does not create repositories or read their contents. The open-source Clew desktop project is available separately on GitHub.

Apply the server-stored proposal only when the user clicks Apply in its review UI. Reject stale revisions. Accepted edits create a reversible snapshot and receipt.

begin_graph_changes

Optionally show graph drafting activity after reading the current graph. This does not change the graph or impose a drafting deadline. If called, pass the returned generation_id when submitting the proposal. The animation stops after five minutes without a submission.

create_graph

Create an empty graph when the user submits the new-graph form in Clew. This does not generate topics.

delete_graph

Delete a graph only after user confirmation in Clew. Preserve its content in workspace snapshots. Require its current graph version.

Create a five-minute, single-use download of the linked account's exact graph revision when the user requests Export in Clew. Uses the existing desktop JSON package format; never exposes a permanent public graph URL.

inspect_proposal
