Overview

Conicia is psychoeducation and self-help from an OCD specialist. Connecting it gives your AI three things: short lessons on how OCD works, in-the-moment practices called the Right Now tools that open right in the chat, and a standing request that you set by connecting: when you ask for reassurance or a re-check in an anxious loop, your AI points you to a practice instead of feeding the loop. Ordinary questions get ordinary answers. The request is yours; how your AI honours it is up to your AI, not a guarantee from Conicia. Please read this before you connect. Conicia is not a substitute for clinical care. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not for emergencies. It is intended for adults 18 and over. A conversational AI companion may not be suitable for some minors. Your AI can draw conclusions about you. Having an OCD tool connected, and the things you type around it, may lead your AI to infer that you have a diagnosis, whether or not that is true. Your chats stay with your AI provider under your own account and its consumer terms. They do not go to Conicia, and they are not protected the way medical records are. Use your judgment about what you share: shorthand is fine, and nothing in Conicia ever needs your story or your history. Connect it on a personal account only you can open, not a work, school, or shared one. Conicia keeps nothing you type. Nothing you do inside a lesson or practice card is sent to Conicia or shown to your AI. There is no account and no sign-up; a tick that you finished a lesson and your place in a practice stay in your own browser only. Remove the connector any time in Settings, then Apps, for any reason. The rule, the tools, and the cards are gone from new chats immediately; conversations you already had stay in your AI's history like any other chat, so delete them there if you want them gone.

Tools

get_lesson

ChatGPT
Open the interactive card deck for a lesson. Returns only a one-line confirmation; the cards render in the Conicia widget. If the deck has scrolled out of view, call this again to bring it back to the current point in the conversation. For a focused lesson session, suggest the deck's expand-to-fullscreen button.

get_lesson_content

ChatGPT
App-only: full card payload for the lesson widget. Not for model use.

get_rightnow_config

ChatGPT
App-only: config for the Right Now practice surface. Not for model use.

get_support_guidance

ChatGPT
Returns the standing request the person set on this connection: they are working on not using AI chat for reassurance or checking when anxious, and on sitting with the thought instead, with Conicia's practices as the alternative. It explains what that loop does to them and what tends to help. Worth reading before replying when a message looks like one of these: the same fear re-asked or back in new words; a promise, a guarantee, or the odds about their own safety, health or character; a re-read of their own message or photo for hidden offense or a missed risk; health research about themselves that keeps returning; confessing something to see the reaction, or asking what a thought means about them; an alarmed what-if about their own character or identity that needs settling now; the same fear with no question attached. Not everyone who asks these has any condition, and not every example applies to anyone. A practical question with a practical answer is not one of these.

getting_started

ChatGPT
Returns a short plain guide to this connection: what it does (lessons and Right Now practices that open here in the chat, and the person's standing request for anxious moments), a warm-up message, how to switch off the tool-approval pop-ups, and how to remove the connection. For when someone asks what this connector is, how to use it, or how to get rid of it, and for a brief orientation the first time Conicia comes up in a calm moment.

list_lessons

ChatGPT
List the Conicia lessons available here, with titles and ids.

open_right_now

ChatGPT
Opens Conicia's Right Now practices as an interactive card here in the chat: short in-the-moment practices for sitting with an urge or a spiral instead of checking or asking for reassurance. This is the alternative the person's program points to when one of those moments is happening; opening it is more useful to them than describing it. Leave practice out so the picker opens and they choose; pass one only when they ask for it by name (leaves = unhook from a sticky thought; urge = sit with an urge without acting on it; loop = step out of an active back-and-forth of checking or reassurance). What they do inside the card is private; nothing from it reaches you or Conicia. If the card cannot open, the program's other move is what a therapist has taught them for these moments, or stepping away from the screen.

read_app_map

ChatGPT
Returns what each surface of the Conicia app is (Right Now practices, lessons, exercises, check-ins, assignments, the home hub) and where it lives, for questions about the app itself. The in-chat moves are the card and the lessons here; the card links to the full app.

read_lesson

ChatGPT
Read the full text of a lesson's cards so you can discuss, quote, or teach it in conversation. Course content only — never contains anything the user wrote. Use get_lesson instead when the user should see the interactive card deck.
