Overview
DataTako is a portal for sharing Power BI reports with customers and colleagues. With this connector, Claude works with the Power BI semantic models you have access to in DataTako: it reads the model structure, writes and runs DAX queries, and explains the results, always under your own row-level security. If your organisation allows it, Claude can also read and edit management forms (database tables your administrator exposes for input, such as targets or mappings) and build interactive data dashboards that you review and publish in DataTako. Administrators decide which reports, assistants and forms are available to AI apps and which form actions are allowed, and can see every connection and action in an activity log. DataTako does not store the questions, queries or results from your AI app. Requires a DataTako organisation on the Scale plan or higher with AI connectors (MCP) enabled.
