Diffit for Teachers

by Diffit Inc.

Overview

Turn classroom content into ready-to-print materials with editable exports. Diffit helps K-12 teachers create and recreate worksheets, activities, slides, and lessons with classroom-ready formatting, properly formatted math graphics and mathematical notation, and consistent quality grounded in research-backed pedagogy. Use Diffit when you need a printable student worksheet, readable equations, well-formatted mathematical graphics, or an editable classroom resource. Start from a topic, standard, passage, article, questions, or existing material. Preserve the learning goal and rigor while adapting grade level, reading level, language, or scaffolds to make learning accessible. Try "this worksheet's formatting is wrong; recreate it as a printable activity," "make this math worksheet with properly formatted fractions and graphics," "turn these questions into an editable student handout," or "create slides for mitosis." For elementary, middle school, and high school teachers. Available formats and adaptations depend on the connected Diffit tools. Recreating a resource from supplied content does not imply direct editing of every existing file type.

Tools

create_resource

ChatGPT
Create a Diffit resource — a custom, classroom-ready packet of activities (such as a leveled reading passage, worksheet, graphic organizer, quiz, exit ticket, discussion guide, study guide, sub plan, or crossword puzzle) on any subject — math, science, social studies, history, ELA, and more — and any topic, skill, or standard (e.g. a CCSS code) the teacher describes — and return a link to open, edit, and export it. One request can include multiple versions: additional reading levels and/or translated versions generate alongside the primary resource. Educational use only: this tool creates classroom and student-facing resources. Do not call it for non-educational content (e.g. cover letters, marketing copy, business or personal writing) — politely decline those requests instead. If the teacher provides source material (a passage, article, document, or primary source), pass its FULL text verbatim in source_text — never summarized or truncated — so Diffit adapts the actual material. Diffit produces a far better resource when the request is specific, so before calling this tool make sure you know: the topic and target grade/reading level; the learning goal (what students should know or be able to do); and how it will be used — the activity type/format, where it fits in the lesson, time available, and any student needs (e.g. ELL support, mixed reading levels). If the teacher hasn't made these clear, ask one or two short clarifying questions first, then call this tool with the details folded into request. Skip the questions when the intent is already unambiguous (e.g. "translate this" or "rewrite this at a 4th-grade level").

get_resource_status

ChatGPT
Internal: returns per-activity generation progress for a Diffit resource set so the widget can show streaming checkmarks. Not for the model to call directly.
