Overview

ether.fi is a DeFi platform offering liquid staking, yield-bearing vaults, and a crypto-backed payment card. This connector gives ChatGPT a read-only view of a user's ether.fi account for reviewing Cash balances, portfolio holdings, cards, transactions, and supported deposit addresses in plain language. It cannot move funds, execute transactions, or modify account settings. The example library provides curated dashboard ideas, reusable prompts, a style guide, and a public examples page. Creating a page with account data still requires the corresponding read permissions.

Tools

example_library

ChatGPT
A curated list of pages people have built from their ether.fi Cash data: what each shows and the prompt that builds it, plus the style guide every such page follows and a public page where the user can try each example. Use it when the user asks what they can build, see or do with this connector, and before building any page or chart from this data, to get the style guide. Build from the user’s own data with the account tools, and only offer examples whose tools this connection has.

get_deposit_address

ChatGPT
Get the on-chain address for funding the connected Cash account, with the networks and assets it accepts. ALWAYS state the supported network and asset alongside the address. Funds sent on an unsupported network, or in an unsupported asset, are lost and cannot be recovered. Only the networks listed in the result are supported — do not describe it as accepting any EVM chain. hasVault false means the account has no vault to fund yet.

get_main_account

ChatGPT
Read the connected Cash account: totalBalance (asset value), spending power, credit limit, amount borrowed and the vault address. accountLabel names which account this connection reads — state it when more than one could be meant. hasVault false means the account has never been funded; that is a normal state, not an error. tradingPositionsIncluded false qualifies totalBalance alone: it is partial. availableBalance, creditLimit and borrowed are separate Cash figures, not increased by trading-only assets. Amounts are decimal strings. For the per-asset breakdown, use get_portfolio.

get_portfolio

ChatGPT
List the assets held in the connected account’s vault: quantity, dollar value, whether each backs card spending, and any yield. valueUsd is the same figure the app’s portfolio screen shows, as a decimal string. quantity.amount is exact base units — use quantity.decimals to read it. tradingPositionsIncluded false means assets are missing from this list; say it is partial rather than totalling it as complete. unrenderableAssetCount greater than zero also means holdings are partial, even when tradingPositionsIncluded is true. hasVault false means the account has never been funded.

list_cards

ChatGPT
List the cards on the connected Cash account: nickname, type, last four digits, status and currency. Never the full card number, CVC or expiry — those are not readable through this connector at any scope.

list_transactions

ChatGPT
List transactions on the connected Cash account, newest first. Covers card spend and on-chain activity: top-ups, withdrawals, borrows, repayments, liquidations and cashback. Filter by date range, category or merchant. Paged — pass the returned nextPage to continue.
