Overview
Paddock is the data layer for AI agent commerce. It tracks real on-chain payments between AI agents — what services they buy, which categories are concentrating, and where the market is opening up. This connector gives Claude live access to the agent-commerce market: a current market summary (transaction volume, active agents, top spending categories) and per-category detail (services, transaction counts, provider concentration, reliability scores). Data is refreshed continuously from on-chain x402 transactions on Base and Solana, cross-referenced against service registries. Free, neutral, and citable.

The wash/circular-settlement signal, PER FACILITATOR (methodology v0.1): cluster count, cluster volume (30d/7d), self-funding %, external-payer count, flagged share of settlement, and trend. Patterns attach to the facilitator only — no seller wallet addresses, operator identity, or per-wallet rows are ever returned.
get_liveness
ClaudePAID ($0.001 USDC per query, or Paddock API key, or 1 free trial call/day). Per-domain liveness lookup against TrustBench probe data: up/down (7-day success rate >= 0.95), score, latency p50/p95, and sample count.
get_market_summary
ClaudeReturns current AI agent commerce market overview — total daily transaction volume, USDC spend, unique buyer agents, live service providers, and the top spending categories. Each category's share_of_volume is its share of CATEGORIZED (attributed) transactions — named categories only, NOT a share of the full-ecosystem daily_transactions total; only the top 6 are returned, so the shown shares sum to <100% by design. Use this to answer general questions about the state of the AI agent economy.
get_niche_gaps

Ranks every AI agent commerce category by opportunity_score (high volume, few providers) with share, top-provider concentration, and an Open/Tightening/Consolidating/Mature signal.
