Overview
Fastio is a workspace and file-storage platform for teams. This app connects a signed-in Fastio account to ChatGPT: browse and search workspaces and files, read file text and metadata, organize folders, upload files, manage branded shares, read and add comments, and manage workspace and share members. Sign-in uses OAuth in the browser; the app acts with the permissions of the signed-in account. No tool accepts a password, API key or verification code, and no tool returns one. Each operation is its own tool (for example storage_search, storage_create_folder, share_create). Read tools only retrieve data. Tools that change data are marked as writes, and tools that delete or overwrite data are marked destructive, so ChatGPT can ask the user before running them. Search finds files by keyword or semantic match within one workspace or share and returns ranked results with short excerpts; a separate tool returns a quoted passage from a specific file. The app does not display plans, start subscriptions or handle payments.

ChatGPTLists the version history of one file.
storage_version_restore
ChatGPTRestores one file (node_id) to an earlier version (version_id, from storage_version_list): that version's content and filename become a new current version. The replaced version stays in the file's version history.
upload_status
ChatGPTReturns the status of one file upload session (upload_id). URL imports report their status through upload_web_status.
upload_stream_upload
ChatGPTUploads one file into a folder (parent_node_id) from text content or base64 content. With target_node_id it replaces that existing file's content, keeping the prior content in its version history.
upload_web_import
ChatGPTImports a file from a URL into a folder (parent_node_id) of a workspace or share. The import runs as a background job.
upload_web_status
ChatGPTReturns the status of one URL import job (upload_id from the import), including the new file's node ID once it completes.
user_me
ChatGPTReturns the signed-in user's Fastio profile, including name, email address and account details.
workspace_create_note
ChatGPTCreates a markdown note from up to 100 KB of text in a workspace folder (parent_id; the root folder when omitted). note_name must end in .md; if that name is already taken in the folder, the next free name is used. Notes exist in workspaces only, not in shares.

Deep Indexing must be on for storage_content and metadata_compound_search, and turning it off deletes the workspace's index.
workspace_update_note
ChatGPTReplaces a workspace note's content (up to 100 KB) and/or renames it (node_id); updating the content creates a new version. With if_version_id the update is applied only if the note's current version still matches that id; otherwise it is rejected with a version conflict and nothing changes.
