Overview

The FlexPro Documentation MCP Server provides the FlexPro online help, the FPScript function directory, and a selection of relevant questions and answers in the form of a knowledge base that can be searched by AI assistants. Using the “search_docs” tool, users can ask the server questions about using FlexPro in natural language; the server then returns the relevant documentation excerpts along with the corresponding references.

The FPScript syntax that differs from C, Python, VBA and other languages - carried-over syntax is the most common reason generated FPScript fails to compile. Call it once before writing or editing FPScript, even when the syntax feels obvious. No arguments; it returns every rule. Function signatures and constant names still come from search_docs, scope 'functions'.

Searches FlexPro's documentation: the FPScript function reference, the help - including the language itself (Dim, control flow, operators) - and the FAQ. Hits come best-first; each carries a 'uri' for reading the full document. The documentation is indexed in English only: phrase 'query' in English whatever language the conversation is in, and translate the passages for the user yourself. The best hit is the nearest match, not proof that it exists in FPScript: weak, off-topic hits are what absence looks like here. For language constructs check get_fpscript_syntax; never write a function name you did not read in a hit.
