Overview

You were going to spend $300 on a seat at the back. On that route, on that date, the flat bed might be closer than you think — or far further away. Flying Fine tells you which. Ask what business or first class costs on any of 1,503 US domestic routes and you get the real range: the cheapest fare recorded, the typical fare, and the high end — drawn from actual tickets sold, published quarterly by the US Department of Transportation. Give it a budget instead and it will show you which routes that money can actually reach, longest trip first. It also separates lie-flat beds from reclining seats. On some routes the cheapest premium ticket is a recliner while a genuine flat bed costs a few hundred more, and price alone will not tell you which is which. These are historical figures, not live fares, and the plugin says so every time. Where a route rests on only a few dozen recorded tickets it flags that too, rather than presenting a thin number as a firm one. There is no booking and no checkout — you confirm with the airline.

Tools

check_business_premium

ChatGPT
USE THIS WHENEVER THE USER NAMES A SPECIFIC ROUTE — one origin and one destination. Examples: 'what does business class cost SFO to JFK', 'is first class worth it to Boston', 'how much more is business on this flight', 'I'm looking at a $300 flight to LAX'. Returns what business and first actually cost on that one route, by airline, with lie-flat vs recliner. DO NOT use find_business_routes when the user has already named a destination — that tool is only for when they have a budget and no route in mind. If the user mentioned an economy fare, pass it as economyPrice. Dates are not needed: the data is historical, so never ask the user for a date before calling this.

find_business_routes

ChatGPT
ONLY use this when the user has NO destination in mind and wants to discover routes that fit a budget. Examples: 'where can I fly business for $1500', 'I have $2000, where can I go lie-flat', 'cheapest business class destinations from SFO'. REQUIRES an explicit budget from the user — never invent one. If the user named a destination, use check_business_premium instead, even if they also mentioned a budget.
