Overview
Git Diff Patcher Bridge connects ChatGPT to a local GDP Desktop session or a seeded Demo Workspace. ChatGPT can inspect repository context, read allowed files, search text, diagnose unified diffs with Patch Doctor, and queue patch proposals for local review. The bridge never applies, commits, pushes, resets, cleans, deletes, rolls back, or runs terminal commands on its own. All repository-changing actions remain under the user’s control inside GDP Desktop.

ChatGPTLists files inside the selected GDP repository with optional pattern filtering.
list_incoming_patches
ChatGPTLists content-free summaries of queued incoming GDP patches for the selected repository.
list_repos
ChatGPTLists repositories currently open as GDP tabs. Use repo_id as the stable session target id; tab_index is only the current visual tab order.
read_context

ChatGPTReads an allowed repository-relative file from the selected GDP repository.

repo_summary
ChatGPTReturns a compact summary of the selected GDP repository when a local GDP session is connected.
search_repo
ChatGPTSearches text in the selected GDP repository and returns compact matches.
submit_patch
ChatGPTQueues one complete unified diff in GDP for local human review. It never applies, commits, rolls back, resets, cleans or pushes changes automatically. Use client_submission_id for retry-safe submissions.
