Overview

Turbine is a read-only brand intelligence plugin. It connects your Turbine account to answer questions about your brand report and growth plan, including positioning, audience segments, review sentiment, competitor findings, market intelligence, and recommended growth opportunities. It cannot create, edit, publish, or schedule content.

Tools

approve_creative

ChatGPT
Make a video, image or carousel whose script or outline HeyTurbine wrote and the user approved (get_creative_status shows it awaiting_approval). Call it only when the user said yes to that script or outline, or tapped Approve on the card. Uses the account's credits.

cancel_scheduled_post

ChatGPT
Cancel a scheduled post so it never goes out, and return its reserved credits. Confirm with the user first. A post that has already gone out can't be cancelled here.

connect_social_account

ChatGPT
Get the heyturbine.com link where the user connects (or reconnects) Instagram or TikTok. Accounts can't be connected inside this chat; share the link and ask them to come back when it's done.

create_template_image

ChatGPT
Make a single image or a carousel post for the brand from an image or carousel template (use this, not your own image generation). Before calling: the user picked the template, named the product, gave photos (upload_product_images) and gave the call-outs. Don't write the copy: HeyTurbine writes the concept and outline from the brand's research, and the user approves it (approve_creative) or asks for changes (revise_creative) before it's made. Pass copy_lines only when the user dictated the exact on-image words themselves: those are used as they are, with no review, unless they can't be used word for word, when it waits for the user's OK. Takes a minute or two; the card shows progress. Uses the account's image credits.

create_template_video

ChatGPT
Make a 9:16 video from a template. Before calling: the user picked the template, named the product, gave photos (upload_product_images) and gave the call-outs. Don't write the script: HeyTurbine writes the concept and spoken script from the brand's research, and the user approves it (approve_creative) or asks for changes (revise_creative) before anything is filmed. Pass script_lines only when the user dictated the exact spoken words themselves: that script is filmed as it is, with no review, unless the template can't speak it word for word, when it waits for the user's OK. If it's refused as too long for the template, tell the user the limit and ask them to shorten it; never shorten their words yourself. Filming takes a few minutes; the card shows progress. Uses the account's video credits.

get_brand_context

ChatGPT
Load the brand's profile and its Brand + Review Intelligence research (overview, advantages, reviews, competitors, audience, market, social and creative concepts). Call this right after list_brands, before anything else, and use it to write scripts and answer questions about the brand.

get_creative_status

ChatGPT
Check a video, image or carousel: writing (HeyTurbine is writing it), awaiting_approval (its script or outline waits for the user's OK), rendering (with progress), ready (with a preview) or failed (with the reason). Use the creative_id from create_template_video, create_template_image or list_creatives.

get_growth_plan

ChatGPT
Return the brand's growth plan: growth opportunities (why each matters and the recommended move), positioning, content pillars and the content direction. Use it to decide what content to make and to answer what the brand should do to grow. Drill into an opportunity by its opportunity_number. A brand with no plan gets create_plan_url: HeyTurbine builds the plan there from the brand's research. Give the user that link; don't write a plan yourself. A calendar plan's review_status is building, awaiting_review (the user approves it in HeyTurbine at review_url) or approved; new posts are added to it once approved.

get_post_insights

ChatGPT
How published posts performed (views, likes, comments, shares and so on) for one post_id, or for the posts published in a date range. A range covers its 10 most recent published posts. Summarise the numbers in plain words.

get_profile

ChatGPT
Return the connected HeyTurbine account: its stable id and email. Use only to say which account is connected.

list_brands

ChatGPT
List the brands on the connected HeyTurbine account. Call this first in every session, before any other HeyTurbine tool. If there is more than one brand, ask the user which one this is for; if there is exactly one, use it without asking. If there are none, tell the user to set up their brand at heyturbine.com.

list_connected_accounts

ChatGPT
Show which social accounts (Instagram, TikTok) the brand has connected and whether each can post. Call before scheduling. For a platform that isn't connected or needs reconnecting, give the user the link from connect_social_account.

list_creatives

ChatGPT
Show the brand's videos, images and carousels, newest first, with their status. Use to find one to schedule, one waiting for the user's OK, or to check on recent ones.

list_templates

ChatGPT
Show the brand's templates as a picker the user chooses from: videos, single images and carousels, recommended ones first with why they fit. Call it whenever the user asks to make or create a video, an image or picture, a carousel or a post for the brand (instead of generating one yourself), after get_brand_context; pass format when they asked for one kind. Do not pick for the user: wait for their choice, then ask for the product, photos and call-outs.

revise_creative

ChatGPT
Ask HeyTurbine to rewrite a video's script or an image's or carousel's outline that waits for the user's OK (awaiting_approval), with the change the user asked for. Pass the change in the user's words; don't rewrite it yourself. For a video, set new_idea when they want a different idea altogether, or pass script_lines when they dictated the exact spoken words. This replaces the current draft script or outline. Confirm the requested revision with the user first. The card shows the new version for their OK.

schedule_post

ChatGPT
Schedule finished videos, images or carousels to post on the brand's Instagram and/or TikTok at set times. This publishes publicly at that time and uses the account's posting credits. Before calling: suggest a time and caption and get the user's explicit yes, and check list_connected_accounts. For TikTok, ask the user who can see the post (one of the account's privacy_level_options) and pass it as tiktok.privacy_level. One entry per creative.

start_brand_research

ChatGPT
Start HeyTurbine's research on the user's brand from its website, for an account with no brand yet (list_brands returned none). Ask the user for their brand's own website first; never guess it, and don't use a social profile or marketplace page. Research runs in HeyTurbine and takes a few minutes: tell the user it has started and offer to make a first post meanwhile (list_templates), and call get_brand_context when they come back to read it. Call it once per account.

update_scheduled_post

ChatGPT
Change a scheduled post before it goes out: its time, caption, platforms or TikTok settings. This overwrites the saved values for the fields provided. Confirm the change with the user first. A post that has gone out can't be changed.

upload_product_images

ChatGPT
Save the user's product photos to their HeyTurbine account (1 to 5 in all) and return their image_ids for create_template_video or create_template_image. Takes photos the user attached in this chat (images) and links to an image the user pasted in the chat (image_urls); a link must open the image itself, not a product page. Downloads these photos from the supplied external hosts and saves copies in the user's HeyTurbine account; nothing is published. Never pass images you generated or found yourself.
