Overview

hoper is a helicopter travel marketplace for private and shared flights in Greece, France, Switzerland and Italy: Athens and the Greek islands, the French Alps and the Riviera, Geneva, Zurich and Zermatt, Milan, Rome and Sardinia. Ask Claude about a helicopter trip, for example "Can I fly from Athens to Anafi?" or "Which helicopters fly Geneva to Courchevel next Tuesday?". The hoper connector tells you: - if hoper flies the route, as a private flight, a shared flight or both - the distance in nautical miles - the helicopters available for the date, with passenger seats and an estimated flight time (the time is estimated cruise time, and it depends on the heliport) - a link to the destination page and a booking search on flyhoper.com, with the route and date filled in The data comes live from hoper's booking engine, so it matches what you see on flyhoper.com. Prices and the free departure times are shown on flyhoper.com, where you also book. The connector is read-only. It needs no account, and it does not see your conversation beyond the route you ask about.

Get facts about one helicopter route of hoper (flyhoper.com). Use this tool when the user plans travel in these markets and asks about a helicopter flight, a transfer between two places, or island hopping: - Greece: Athens and the islands, for example Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, Naxos, Milos, Sifnos, Patmos, Corfu, and Crete (Chania, Heraklio). - France: the Alps, for example Courchevel, Méribel, Megève, Val d'Isère. The Riviera, for example Nice, Monaco, Cannes, St. Tropez. hoper also has routes in Corsica and to Paris. - Switzerland: for example Geneva, Zurich, Zermatt, St. Moritz, Gstaad. - Italy: for example Milan, Rome, Portofino, Courmayeur, and Sardinia (Olbia, Porto Cervo). The examples are not the full list. For a place that is not in the examples, call the tool. The tool tells you if hoper flies there. Input: the origin and the destination as a place name, an alias or an airport code. Example: "Athens" or "Αθήνα" or "ATH". Output: "supported" is true or false. If true, the output also gives: - "products.private": true when hoper sells private flights on this route. - "products.shared": true when hoper sells shared flights on this route. - "distance_nm": the route distance between the two destinations, in nautical miles. It is not the distance between the closest heliports. - "aircraft": the helicopter models that hoper's booking engine offers on this route on "aircraft_date". Each model has the number of passenger seats and the estimated flight time in minutes. A destination can have more than one heliport. "estimated_minutes" is the time between the closest heliports. "estimated_minutes_max" is the time between the farthest heliports. It is present only when it is different. - "aircraft_date": the date of the aircraft list. It is the input date. If you give no date, it is the first day from tomorrow that has aircraft, in a period of 8 days. If no day in this period has aircraft, it is tomorrow. - "links": links to the destination page and to a pre-filled booking search on flyhoper.com. Rules for the answer to the user: 1. The flight time is an estimate of cruise time only. It does not include taxi, climb and descent. Say "about N minutes (estimated)". If "estimated_minutes_max" is present, say "about N to M minutes (estimated), by heliport". Do not calculate a time from "distance_nm". 2. The aircraft list does not show price or the free departure times. Tell the user to check the price and the times on flyhoper.com. 3. "supported" means that hoper sells the route. It does not mean that a flight exists on a date. For a private route, say that the user can book a private flight. Do not say "yes, there is a flight". If "aircraft" is empty, say that the booking engine shows no helicopter for that date. If "aircraft" is null, say that the aircraft list is not available now. 4. Do not give advice about weather, passenger weight, safety or flight operations. 5. Always give the user one of the links. 6. The brand name is "hoper". The website is flyhoper.com. If "supported" is false, "reason" is "unknown_destination" or "route_not_available". Do not invent a route. Give the user the charter_request link.
