全国法人レーダー (Japan Corporate Number Search)

Look up legal entities registered in Japan. The data comes from the National Tax Agency corporate number registry (about 5.8 million entities, including closed ones) and other Japanese government open data, processed by 全国法人レーダー (houjinradar.com). It is not an official government service. Two read-only tools: - search_corporations: find entities by name (kanji, katakana or hiragana; names registered in Latin letters also match) or by 4-digit securities code, optionally within one prefecture. Returns up to 20 candidates with the Corporate Number, address and whether the registration is closed. - get_corporation: the registered facts for one 13-digit Corporate Number: name and reading, entity type, address, closure date and reason, qualified invoice issuer (インボイス) number and status, and, where government data has them, industry, website, employees, capital, founding year, a short business summary and the number of central-government contracts. Every answer links to the entity's page on houjinradar.com so the user can check the source. It does not search by personal name, and it does not return representatives' names, phone numbers, credit ratings or financial statements. Most entities are registered only under a Japanese name; a separate English name exists for about 15,000 of them. No sign-in. Free.
