Overview

Insight7 Speaking Coach helps you rehearse what you are going to say before it counts: a job interview, a salary or raise conversation, a pitch or presentation, a hard conversation, or small talk. Ask ChatGPT for a warm-up and Insight7 opens a card with one practice question, tailored to what you have told ChatGPT about your situation. Answer out loud for up to 60 seconds, or type your answer. Robin, Insight7's speaking coach, scores it out of 100 on Clarity, Pace and Confidence, gives you one specific note on what to change, and, for answers recorded in the card, marks filler words such as "um" and "like" in your transcript. Try the question again or move on to the next one, and see how each answer compares with your last. You can also answer in the chat or in ChatGPT voice mode, and Insight7 scores your exact words. Pace is measured only for answers recorded in the card. Limitations: answers are scored in English. Recording needs microphone access in the card; where that is not available, you can type your answer instead. Each person can do up to 40 warm-ups a day. No Insight7 account is needed, and Insight7 keeps answers and scores for 30 days.

Tools

score_warmup_answer

ChatGPT
Scores the user's own answer to a warm-up question and shows their Insight7 scorecard: an overall score, Clarity, Pace and Confidence, and Robin's take. Call it when the user answers a warm-up question in the chat or in voice mode instead of in the card. Pass their answer word for word, exactly as they typed or said it. Never write, complete, improve or summarise an answer for them, and never score text you wrote. Answers recorded in the card are scored there, so do not call this for them.

start_warmup

ChatGPT
Opens Insight7's Warm-up card in the chat: one question the user answers out loud for up to 60 seconds (or by typing), then a scorecard from Robin, Insight7's speaking coach, on Clarity, Pace and Confidence. Use it only when the user wants to practise speaking or rehearse an answer, for example for a job interview, a salary or raise conversation, a pitch or presentation, a hard conversation, or small talk. For any other request, answer without it. Pass the closest scenario. If the user has told you about the situation (a role, a company, a meeting), write one tailored question in question. Otherwise omit it and Insight7 picks one. After calling, invite the user to answer in the card. Do not answer the question for them.
