Use for general portfolio status, value, holdings, or composition. These all use the same complete overview. For an explicitly requested performance window, ranked movers, or gains/losses, use get_top_earners. Needs a connected account.

ChatGPTPortfolio performance for an explicitly requested time window or ranked holdings that gained or lost value. Pass period='one_week' or period='one_month'; it covers today by default. Direction is required: direction='gainers' for what went up ('what made me money', 'what am I up on') and direction='losers' for what went down ('where did I lose money today', 'what did I lose money on', 'what am I down on', 'what hurt my portfolio'). Use direction='all' only for performance over a requested window covering both sides, such as 'how did my portfolio do this week'. Do not use 'all' for a question about only gains or only losses. For general portfolio status, value or allocation use get_portfolio. The figure is the change in market value of what the account holds now, so report it as performance, not as earnings or profit: it excludes deposits, withdrawals and Earn rewards, it is not realised or taxable P/L, and a coin bought part-way through the window is measured across the whole of it. ChatGPTPrepare links to Kraken's external instant buy or sell flow. Use this whenever the user wants to buy or sell. Batch the requested trades into one call; each has its side and any amount the user named, without conversion. The links prefill only asset, side and amount, not limit prices or stop conditions; do not present them as satisfying unsupported order conditions. If no amount was given, omit it rather than asking merely to build a link. Places nothing: the user reviews and confirms on Kraken. No account needed.
