Overview

Let's Workout is a strength-training log for Android, Wear OS and the web. Connect it to ask how your training is going, see your personal records and estimated one-rep maxes, review any workout or exercise history, and search a 1,100-exercise library in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French. With your permission Claude can also build and edit routines, log finished workouts and body weight, and — for coaches — read athletes' training and send them routines, exactly as Coach mode allows. Every change syncs to the phone app. You choose what Claude may do when you connect, and can disconnect at any time in Settings › Connected assistants. Free for every account.

Tools

create_custom_exercise

ChatGPT
Adds an exercise of the person's own when the library has nothing close (search_exercises first). Returns its id for routines and workouts.

create_routine

ChatGPT
Saves a new routine (workout template) with its exercise lines; it appears in the app's Routines after a sync. A coach can create it in an athlete's account. Confirm the plan with the person first.

delete_routine

ChatGPT
Deletes a routine and its lines on every device (logged workouts stay). Always confirm with the person first.

delete_workout

ChatGPT
Deletes a logged workout and its sets from the person's history on every device; records are recalculated. Always confirm with the person first.

find_alternatives

ChatGPT
Exercises that can replace one in a routine — same movement pattern and muscles first — the list the app's 'Find an alternative' shows. Narrow by the equipment the person has, or by why they want a change.

get_achievements

ChatGPT
The person's achievement badges: which are earned (and when) and how close the next ones are. Only for the signed-in person, never an athlete.

get_app_guide

ChatGPT
How Let's Workout stores and runs training: units, set types, enum codes, how routines and progression work, and what the write tools change. Read it before building a routine or logging a workout.

get_body_weight

ChatGPT
Body-weight log entries (kg, with the time measured): the most recent ones, in time order, the latest last.

get_exercise

ChatGPT
One exercise: its name, muscle group and equipment, and for a library exercise the how-to guide (setup, steps, primary and secondary muscles, common mistakes, form tips, difficulty).

get_exercise_history

ChatGPT
Every recent session of one exercise: its sets, the top set, volume and estimated one-rep max per session, plus the exercise's records. The exercise id comes from search_exercises or a workout.

get_personal_records

ChatGPT
The best set per exercise: weight (kg) × reps, the estimated one-rep max, and when it was set.

get_profile

ChatGPT
The signed-in person's Let's Workout settings: weight unit, current body weight, weekly goal, training goal, default rest and whether they coach. Call this first: it says which unit to use for every weight. When isCoach is true but coachAccess is false, athletes are out of reach: tell the person to disconnect and reconnect the assistant, allowing Coach mode.

get_progress

ChatGPT
Progress over time: weekly volume, consistency against the goal, the most trained exercises, lifetime totals, strength trend (estimated one-rep max) of the main lifts, recent records and muscle balance over four weeks.

get_routine

ChatGPT
One saved routine with its exercise lines, as list_routines gives it, shown to the person as a card with the exercise names. The id comes from list_routines.

get_training_summary

ChatGPT
Where the person stands now: workouts this week against the weekly goal, streaks, this week vs last week, the three most recent personal records, and any workout in progress. Good first read for 'how am I doing?'.

get_workout

ChatGPT
One workout with every set (weight in kg, reps, set type: 0 normal, 1 warm-up, 2 drop, 3 failure), its notes, and which exercises set a record that day. The id comes from list_workouts.

list_athletes

ChatGPT
The people this coach trains in Coach mode: their ids (pass one as athleteId to the other tools), names (never emails), last workout, this week's workouts against their goal, and their program status.

list_routines

ChatGPT
The saved routines (workout templates), in the app's order, each with its exercise lines: target sets, reps (or a rep range), weight in kg, rest, note, superset group, and suggested weekdays (0 = Sunday). A routine with byCoach true was written by the person's coach.

list_workouts

ChatGPT
Logged workouts, newest first, a page at a time, each with its volume, duration, set count and how many personal records it set; plus monthly totals. Filter by dates, routine or a text query (name or exercise). Use get_workout for the sets.

log_body_weight

ChatGPT
Adds a body-weight entry; the newest entry also becomes the profile's current weight, as in the app.

log_workout

ChatGPT
Saves a finished workout to the person's history: its exercises and sets. Personal records are updated by the app's rule. It syncs to their phone. Confirm the details with the person first.

notify_athlete

ChatGPT
Coach mode: sends the athlete the app's push notification that their coach saved new or changed routines (only routines this coach saved in the last hour). Ask the coach before sending.

search_exercises

ChatGPT
Finds exercises by name in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French (e.g. 'supino inclinado', 'romanian deadlift'), in the ~1,100-exercise library and the person's own exercises, optionally filtered by muscle group or equipment. Returns ids to use in routines and workouts. Search again with other words if the right one is missing.

share_routine

ChatGPT
Makes a public link to one of the person's own routines (https://letsworkout.app/r/<code>, or boratreinar.app in Portuguese) — the same link the app's Share makes. Anyone with the link sees the routine's name, description, exercises and targets; on a phone it opens the app and imports a copy. The link does not expire, and asking again for an unchanged routine returns the same link. Confirm with the person first.

suggest_progression

ChatGPT
The next session's target for one exercise, from its last sessions — the same progression rule the app uses: add weight, add a rep, hold, or deload, with the reason, the recommended weight (kg) and per-set targets. Pass the routine so its sets and rep range count.

update_routine

ChatGPT
Changes a routine: name, description, suggested days, and — when exercises are given — replaces ALL its lines with the ones given. Read it with list_routines first and confirm with the person.

update_workout

ChatGPT
Changes a logged workout: its name, notes, and — when exercises are given — replaces ALL its sets with the ones given. Records are recalculated. Read it with get_workout first and confirm with the person.
