apply_to_job
ChatGPTSubmits the signed-in customer's application to one active job: the job, a cover note and the resume the customer attached (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB). The resume is a file parameter: ChatGPT supplies the attached file's download URL and file id, and Loppee downloads the original file. Loppee shares the application with the employer. The resume is held in quarantine until a malware scan passes, and the result reports scanning, failed or submitted. Applying is free. Requires the connection's permission to manage job applications.
compare_businesses
ChatGPTCompares two to twenty Loppee business ids side by side using public facts, in the order given. Published businesses keep their Verified or Listed class; Registry records keep their claim status and disclosure. Ids that are unknown, private or unavailable are reported as unresolved. Payment does not affect the comparison.
create_location_handoff
ChatGPTCreates a request for the current location of the customer's registered Loppee iPhone, for one nearby search in the service category q (for example HVAC or plumbing). Requires the Loppee Personal OAuth connection. The request is delivered to the Loppee iPhone app. If the customer has allowed this connection automatically and the category is recognized, the iPhone completes it without a prompt (request_mode=automatic); otherwise the customer approves or declines it in the app (request_mode=approval_required). The response contains the request id (handoff_id), status, expiry, poll_after_seconds and next_action: poll_location_handoff while the iPhone completes the request, or open_loppee_phone_app when it is waiting in the app under Account, My AI agents, Pending location requests. The response never contains a location. A connection has one active request at a time; while one is active, this returns location_handoff_pending with that request's id. Requests expire on a server-side timer: about 10 minutes to be approved and up to 15 minutes of use after approval, after which Loppee deletes the encrypted location.
explain_recommendation
ChatGPTExplains one published business's standing: its Verified or Listed class and disclosure, its review-reputation band from interaction-backed reviews, its recommendation order and its commercial reach. Private reviewer weighting is not included.
get_agent_capabilities
ChatGPTReturns what the Loppee Personal connection can do: the available tools and the permission each one needs. It covers the consumer connection only; business-owner and administrator access are not part of Loppee Personal.
get_agent_identity
ChatGPTReturns the signed-in customer's Loppee Personal connection: account label, sign-in method and the permissions granted to this connection, such as messaging businesses, publishing reviews and managing job applications. It reads permissions only and does not sign in or change them.
get_business_reviews
ChatGPTReturns a business's public reviews, paginated like its profile page and optionally filtered by star rating. A review is labelled Verified interaction when Loppee observed a qualifying interaction with the business; other reviews are labelled Unverified and carry no ranking weight. The label describes the review only and does not change the business's verification or publication.
get_location_handoff
ChatGPTReturns the status of a location request created by create_location_handoff: awaiting_user, ready, declined, expired or revoked, with its expiry and next_action. wait_for_iphone_location means the iPhone is still completing the request; open_loppee_phone_app means it is waiting for the customer in the Loppee iPhone app under Account, My AI agents, Pending location requests; search_with_location_handoff means it is ready to use as location_handoff_id in search_businesses; create_new_location_handoff means it has ended. It returns status only, never a location, and does not change the request.
get_trust_card
ChatGPTReturns the public Trust Card for one published business, found by business_id or domain_key: its Verified or Listed class and disclosure, public profile facts, review summary, commercial reach disclosure, available actions and citation, and any owner-provided insurance details with a note that Loppee has not confirmed them. It contains no numeric verification score.
list_my_conversations
ChatGPTReturns the signed-in customer's own conversations with businesses, or one thread by conversation_id, paged with cursor. It reads only this customer's inbox and does not send messages. Requires the connection's permission to read messages.
list_my_job_applications
ChatGPTReturns the signed-in customer's own job applications, newest first, with each application's employer-set status and resume scan status. It does not return resume contents, file paths or download links, and does not change any application. Requires the connection's permission to read job applications.
lookup_business
ChatGPTLooks up published Loppee businesses by name and returns the matching records with their status and disclosure. It takes a business name and paging only, not a location.
search_businesses
ChatGPTSearches Loppee's registry of local US businesses by business name or service category. q is the user's search phrase; Loppee recognizes service categories and phrases such as "near me". For a nearby category search, location_handoff_id is the id of an approved location request from create_location_handoff, which supplies the current location of the customer's registered Loppee iPhone. Loppee uses that location privately and returns business results without addresses or coordinates. Each result shows its Verified, Listed or Registry status and disclosure. Nearby results are organic: sponsorship does not change their order or labels, and payment does not affect trust, verification or category. Searching does not edit business records. A search that uses a location request records the location use and, for an automatically allowed request, sends the customer an informational notice in the Loppee iPhone app.
search_jobs
ChatGPTSearches published job postings by keyword, category, workplace type, employment type, experience level, salary range and posting age, or returns one posting by job_id. Returns jobs and employer facts. Results are not ranked by any applicant's suitability. Searching does not apply to a job or share a resume.
send_message_request
ChatGPTSends a message from the signed-in customer to a published business's Loppee inbox, with the business, subject and message text the customer approved. Reusing the same client_message_id makes an exact retry safe. The result reports the delivery outcome: an unclaimed or unavailable business may not receive the message, in which case Loppee records a missed contact instead. Messaging does not affect verification or ranking. Requires the connection's permission to message businesses.
submit_review_for_moderation
ChatGPTPublishes the signed-in customer's review of a business, with the star rating, title, review text and optional service date the customer approved (attestation_accepted). The review describes the customer's own experience and is marked as agent-assisted. A customer has one review per business, so a new submission replaces their earlier review. Reviews follow Loppee's eligibility rules and moderation, and publishing one does not create a Verified interaction label. Requires the connection's permission to publish reviews.
withdraw_job_application
ChatGPTWithdraws one of the signed-in customer's job applications. Withdrawal is final: the employer sees the application as withdrawn and its stored resume file is permanently deleted. Applications that were rejected or hired cannot be withdrawn; withdrawing an already-withdrawn application returns success. Requires the connection's permission to manage job applications.
