add_flight
ChatGPTSaves a flight to the traveler's Lufthaven, so their phone tracks it and alerts them. Use it when the traveler has booked a flight or asks to track one. Give the flight as on the booking ("BA117") and its local departure date. If the answer lists several flights, ask which departure airport before calling again with from. This saves a flight; it does not buy, change or cancel a booking. Requires sign-in and an existing flight-tracking entitlement.
flight_status
ChatGPTWhat any flight in the world is doing now, by flight number and date or by tail number: status, gates, terminals, times and delay in local time, the aircraft and its tail, the incoming plane, and the position while it flies, when available. A tail answers where that plane is, the flight it is on and its last few. The traveler does not need to be on the flight. May start or renew a 15-minute position watch. Requires sign-in and an existing flight-tracking entitlement. Shares a limit of 50 lookups per connection per UTC day with route_flights.
my_flights
ChatGPTThe traveler's saved flights that are still to come or underway, soonest first, each with its status, gates, terminals, delay, the incoming plane and the security wait at departure, when available. Returns up to 20 flights. Requires sign-in and an existing flight-tracking entitlement.
route_flights
ChatGPTFlights between two airports on a local departure day, soonest first, each with its status, times, delay and aircraft when available, and which are in the air now. Returns up to 40 flights, the total found and a count of any omitted. Requires sign-in and an existing flight-tracking entitlement. Shares a limit of 50 lookups per connection per UTC day with flight_status.
search_flights
ChatGPTFares for a trip from Google Flights: the cheapest offers with price, stops, each leg's flight number, times and aircraft, a guess at whether each leg has Starlink Wi-Fi, and a Google Flights link to book. One way unless return_date is given. Use it when the traveler wants to find or compare flights to book. No sign-in needed. Prices can change; the tool does not reserve or purchase tickets. If live fares are unavailable, it returns the search link and explains that no live fares were returned.
security_wait
ChatGPTThe security queue at an airport now, per checkpoint and terminal: the wait in minutes (a range where the airport publishes bands), when it was read in the airport's local time and how many minutes ago, the source, and whether the number is measured, a band or an estimate. Also the usual wait for this hour on this weekday when Lufthaven has enough history, any passport-control queues in the same reading, labelled as immigration, and the airport's wait page on lufthaven.app when the site has one. When no reading is current it says so and gives no number. It does not forecast later waits or answer for a specific flight; for the traveler's own saved flight, my_flights and travel_status give the wait at that flight's checkpoint. No sign-in needed.
starlink_check
ChatGPTWhether a flight will have Starlink Wi-Fi: yes, likely, not_likely or no, with the reason (airline, aircraft type, the exact plane), how to get on (free, free with a loyalty login, or mixed) and, for a fleet still to be fitted, the month fitting starts. Give a flight and its date, or a tail number, or an airline code with an aircraft type for a flight not booked yet. Uses stored flight and aircraft records and airline rollout information; it does not fetch a fresh flight assignment or guarantee onboard service. No sign-in needed.
travel_status
ChatGPTWhether the traveler is flying now or soon, and the flight that matters most right now: in the air, boarding, the next departure, or just landed. Times are local to each airport. Use this to answer "am I travelling", "when do I land" or "is my flight on time" from saved flights, not the traveler's physical location. Includes the security wait at departure, when available. Requires sign-in and an existing flight-tracking entitlement.
