Overview

Mailinite Outbound Readiness tells you whether your cold email setup is ready to send, and what to fix first. What it does: - Audits a sending domain with live DNS lookups: MX records, SPF (including the 10-lookup limit and redirect handling), DKIM at common provider selectors, DMARC policy and reporting, domain blocklists (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL, URIBL), domain age from the registry's RDAP record, and whether the domain resolves. Each check returns pass, warn or fail with a specific fix, plus a 0-100 score. - Plans sending infrastructure for a monthly volume: daily sends, active and spare inboxes, number of sending domains, new prospects needed per month, warm-up time and a three-week ramp. All assumptions (emails per inbox per day, inboxes per domain, spare capacity, warm-up days) can be changed, and you can add your own prices for a cost estimate. - Scores overall outbound readiness from 0 to 100 by combining the domain audit and capacity plan with your answers about separate sending domains, warm-up, list verification, bounce rate, opt-out, open tracking and ICP, then lists the top fixes in priority order. Who it's for: founders, sales teams and agencies about to start or scale B2B cold email, and anyone troubleshooting why emails land in spam. Limitations: it only reads public DNS and registry data and does calculations. It does not send email, change DNS, connect to mailbox or sending accounts, or test actual inbox placement. DKIM keys under custom selectors can't be discovered. Some blocklist operators refuse queries from cloud resolvers, so a list may show as not checked. Results are guidance, not a deliverability guarantee. No account or sign-in is required, and inputs are not stored.

Tools

audit_sending_domain

ChatGPT
Run live, read-only DNS checks on a cold email sending domain: MX records, SPF (including the 10-lookup limit), DKIM at common selectors, DMARC policy, domain blocklists (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL, URIBL), domain age via RDAP, and whether the domain resolves. Returns a 0-100 score with a pass/warn/fail result and a fix for each check. Use when the user asks whether a domain is set up correctly for sending email or why emails land in spam.

check_outbound_readiness

ChatGPT
Score how ready a cold email program is to launch (0-100). Optionally runs the live domain audit and capacity plan, and scores the user's answers about sending practices: separate sending domains, warm-up, list verification, bounce rate, opt-out, open tracking and ICP. Returns a verdict and the top fixes in priority order. Only pass answers the user actually gave; leave the rest out. Use when the user asks if they are ready to start or scale cold email.

plan_sending_infrastructure

ChatGPT
Calculate the cold email infrastructure needed for a monthly sending volume: daily sends, active and spare inboxes, sending domains, new prospects needed per month, warm-up time and a ramp-up schedule. Optional prices give a cost estimate. Pure calculation, no external calls. Use when the user asks how many inboxes or domains they need.
