Overview

Keep project requirements and optional standards beside your ChatGPT conversation. Changes save locally in your browser or app. The open panel shares the current plan and selected standards with the conversation. Save project uses the host's file controls or asks this chat to save and verify the complete file, without an external browser tab. In-chat saving needs an assistant turn and file tools. Mandate keeps no server-held project copy. No extra software or Mandate cloud account is required. The private Mandate service is separate.

Tools

create_project

Prepare a project in the user's browser. The returned projectId is allocated now and can be used immediately for subsequent proposal tools in the same request; no browser inspection is needed. Only the browser receipt confirms creation.

open_project_file

ChatGPT

Open a .mandate file only from the host-supplied file entrypoint. Never invent a resource URI or call this to open an ordinary browser workspace. Only the authorized host editor reads and updates the file on the user's computer. Does not grant approval or folder access.

open_workspace

Open or reopen Mandate when the user asks. For an ordinary open, omit publicWorkspaceId so the browser can resume this user's remembered workspace. Supply publicWorkspaceId only to return to a particular known working copy. If opening=resume is returned, wait for the app context's resolved publicWorkspaceId before preparing actions. Projects remain in this browser or the user's saved files; no server-held projects or approval authority are provided.

propose_decision
