Overview

PLAZA Hotels connects the assistant to the hotels of the PLAZA hotel group. Ask about a hotel and get answers from that hotel's own knowledge base: check-in and check-out times, parking, breakfast, pets, Wi-Fi, room categories, family and conference rooms, restaurant, accessibility and e-charging. The connector also searches curated information about local sights, and dated local events where a city's list is available. It queries live room availability and prices directly from the hotels' booking system for your dates and occupancy, and can create a binding reservation with the guest's own data. An availability result carries a signed, single-use token valid for 30 minutes, and the reservation tool will not proceed without one — so a booking can never be made against a price the guest was not shown. No payment happens in the chat. Reservations below EUR 200 are confirmed directly and the guest pays at the hotel. From EUR 200 the booking system issues a three-day offer and sends the guest a link, where the booking is confirmed with a card on that system's own secure page. This connector never receives, stores or forwards card data, and no tool accepts a card field. No account and no sign-in are needed. Guest data — name, mobile number, e-mail, travel dates, occupancy, travel reason — is requested only when the guest actually wants to book. No postal address is asked for. German, English and Dutch are supported. Ask the assistant which hotels are currently connected; the list is read live rather than baked into this description.

check_room_availability

Claude

Checks live room availability and total prices at one PLAZA hotel for given arrival and departure dates and a given occupancy, by querying the hotel's booking system. Works for every hotel in the list. Returns up to five options with room category, rate name, whether breakfast is included, and the total price for the whole stay, on flexible (free-cancellation) rates; most hotels sell each room both with and without breakfast, and the breakfast parameter restricts the quote to one of those when the guest has a preference. Nothing is reserved and no message is sent. For hotels connected to online booking, each option also carries a single-use booking token valid 30 minutes that create_room_reservation accepts. For all other hotels the prices are informational only: the response says so explicitly and gives the hotel's phone number, and there is no token — do not offer to book those, and do not tell the guest a room is held.

create_room_reservation

Claude

Creates a real reservation in a PLAZA hotel's booking system for one option that was quoted by an availability check, identified by that option's booking token, and has the hotel send the guest a confirmation SMS. Under EUR 200 total the hotel system confirms the booking directly and the guest pays at the hotel; from EUR 200 it instead creates an offer that the guest must confirm within 3 days by credit card via a link, otherwise it lapses and no room is held. The response states which of the two happened and returns the reservation number. Requires the guest's name, mobile number, e-mail address and travel purpose. No payment card details are requested or transmitted by this tool. Each booking token can be redeemed once.

get_hotel_contact

Claude

Returns one PLAZA hotel's contact details as recorded in its own data: postal address, reception phone number and reception hours, general and reservations e-mail addresses, and website. Details that are not recorded for a hotel are left out of the response.

list_plaza_hotels

Claude

Lists the PLAZA hotels this server covers, with each hotel's name, city, the short identifier used for the hotel parameter, and whether room availability and reservations are handled online for that hotel or by the hotel on the phone. Takes no parameters.

resend_confirmation

Claude

Sends the confirmation SMS for an existing reservation again, to a corrected mobile number, for a reservation that was created through this server during the current server session. Each call sends a real SMS. The message content is fixed by the hotel system; only the destination number can be given.

search_hotel_info

Claude

Searches one PLAZA hotel's own knowledge base and returns the matching passages: room categories and features, breakfast, check-in and check-out times, parking, WiFi, pets, payment methods, wellness and conference facilities, restaurant and house rules. Returns recorded text about the hotel; it does not return availability or prices for specific dates.

search_local_attractions

Claude

Searches the sights and points-of-interest data recorded for one PLAZA hotel's city — landmarks, museums, churches, parks, lakes, viewpoints and similar — and returns a short description of each match.

search_local_events

Claude

Searches the local event calendar recorded for one PLAZA hotel's city (concerts, theatre, markets, exhibitions, festivals) and returns upcoming entries with date, time and venue. Events that have already taken place are excluded. Calendar data exists only for the cities where one is maintained; for the others the tool reports that no event data is available.
