Overview

Connect ChatGPT to your Metance workspace to search content your account can access and read the available source text. Summarize findings, draft briefings, and compare sources with links to the original content. Metance accesses only your connected workspace. These tools retrieve information; drafts are created in the conversation and are not saved back to Metance.

Reads available text from workspace content returned by search and revalidates the signed-in user's access. Pass the opaque id unchanged. Ground answers in returned text; if a requested detail is absent, say so instead of filling gaps. Cite each source used with its returned absolute URL as a clickable [title](url) link. Never cite an opaque id or invent a URL. Long sources are truncated and marked [TRUNCATED]; open the source link for the complete content.

ChatGPT

Searches content in the connected metance workspace that the signed-in user is allowed to access and returns source ids, titles, and absolute source URLs. Fetch is optional when source text or relevance verification is needed.
