Overview
MotelMoose helps hotel operators inspect their connected ASI hotels, discover available reporting data, query stored records, and retrieve approved live reports. Its companion skill guides reporting definitions, date comparisons, and missing-data handling. It cannot change reservations, rates, or payments. Live reads save snapshots and operational diagnostics are recorded. Optional beta sharing can retain related question wording, redacted tool arguments, and draft answer excerpts according to the account setting. A MotelMoose account with access to the relevant hotel is required.

get_daily_exceptions
ChatGPTRead-only exceptions brief for one hotel-local business date from stored ASI observations; it makes no ASI request. business_date defaults to today only for a hotel with a verified non-default timezone (see timezone_source). Uses one complete scheduled-arrival source and separates scheduled arrivals (source stays), explicit check-in evidence, folios and registration evidence. Registration cards, signatures, ID scans and photos have no supported source and are UNKNOWN, never missing. Unknown check-in status is not a missed arrival. Inspect sources, coverage, observed_at and limitations before acting; for more exceptions pass next_offset with source_ref set to sources.scheduled_arrivals.ref.

read_live_report
ChatGPTUse when stored datasets lack the required fields, coverage or freshness. Reuse a saved snapshot up to max_age_seconds old (default 300), or set 0 for a fresh ASI request. Every fetch saves the complete report. For in-house, today-arrivals, future-arrivals, today-departures, rooms, rate-plans and property-context, omit start/end; dates are forbidden. For statistics, arrival and reservation-detail, provide start/end within the trailing 24 months through today (UTC). Availability, rates and restrictions also allow up to 365 days ahead. For upcoming reservations, fetch future-arrivals without dates, then filter verified source arrival/departure/status fields in the complete saved live_report_rows using snapshot_id and SQL WHERE, not top-level start/end. Do not treat its first page as the complete list or its current scope as historical booking pace. Requests queue and are paced per property; response-size limits apply.
