Overview
Mundane books ID-verified local people for things that need someone there in person: checking whether a store has something in stock, photographing a place, a pickup, a place in line. Tell ChatGPT what you need, where and when, and your budget. It finds people near the place you name and shows you their rate, rating and distance. Nothing is booked until you say yes to a specific person and amount. Your payment is held by Mundane and released only when you approve the photos and notes the person sends back. You can ask for changes before approving. Every person on Mundane has passed an ID check with Stripe Identity. Every task is screened against Mundane's Acceptable Use Policy before anyone sees it, and Mundane refuses surveillance, harassment and anything unsafe or unlawful. Locations are shown as approximate areas: Mundane never reveals where a person lives. Connecting your Mundane account charges nothing. You set the spending limits for the connection, and you can disconnect at any time from the console at mundane.market.

make_offer

If the balance doesn't cover it, nothing is held or sent: the result is status payment_needed with a pay_url on mundane.market for exactly this task, where the customer pays and the offer is sent.
post_task
ChatGPTDrafts a task for the customer. Only this connection sees it until an offer is made, and it is screened against Mundane's Acceptable Use Policy before any person does.
search_workers
ChatGPTID-verified people near a place who can do a kind of work, with each one's rate, rating, approximate distance and skills, best match first. An empty result means nobody is near right now. Locations are approximate areas; Mundane never reveals where a person lives.
send_chat_message
ChatGPTSends a message to the person working on the customer's task ("the side door is locked"). A sent message cannot be unsent. Messages arranging payment outside Mundane, or asking for work the task does not cover, are not sent; extra work is a new offer.
submit_completion_review
ChatGPTRecords the customer's decision on finished work: accept releases the held pay to the person and cannot be reversed, request_changes lets them redo it with nothing released, and reject opens a dispute.
submit_rating
ChatGPTRecords a 1-5 rating of the person after a task. It becomes part of their public reputation and cannot be changed.
update_task
ChatGPTChanges an unassigned task's details. A person already offered the task sees the new version.
