Overview
Murfy is an AI-native online LaTeX editor for research teams, with real-time collaboration and fast compiles. The Murfy connector lets you work on your Murfy projects directly from Claude. With the connector, Claude can: browse your projects, folders, and files; read LaTeX source with line numbers that match compile logs; make precise partial edits to your files; create folders and files (including images and other binary files), and rename, move, or delete them; view and change your compiler, TeX Live version, and main .tex file; and run compiles, read errors and logs, and fetch the compiled PDF. A common workflow is fixing compile errors: Claude compiles your paper, reads the error log, opens the referenced line, edits the source, and recompiles until the build succeeds. Edits are saved as your own edits and show up for collaborators in real time. Access follows your role in each project. Owners and Editors can read, edit, and manage files. Viewers can read files and run compiles. You can review and disconnect your connections anytime in Murfy under Settings > Connected apps. Connections expire after 30 days without use. A free Murfy account is enough to get started.
