Overview

Read the Quran in Arabic with the translations of the Muslim Expert app, 60 translations in 42 languages with transliteration. Find duas for every moment of the day with their Arabic text, translation and hadith reference, learn the 99 names of Allah, and get prayer times for about 70,000 cities, calculated with the method the app uses for each country or the method you choose. Answers quote the exact Arabic text and name each translation, so quotations stay separate from explanations. After an answer, an optional card opens the same verse, dua, names or prayer times in Muslim Expert, or its download page, to continue with recitations, adhan reminders and the Qibla. No account is needed. The plugin only reads published content: it cannot save notes or conversations, change app settings or import ChatGPT studies into the app.

find_city

Find cities of at least 5,000 inhabitants by name, in English or the local language (major cities also in other languages and scripts), optionally within one ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country. Returns the city_id, region, country, coordinates and time zone used by get_prayer_times.

get_dua_chapter

Retrieve every dua of a chapter with its Arabic text, transliteration, translation in the app language (English when that language is unavailable) and its hadith or Quran reference. Use a chapter_id returned by search_duas. Begin a left-to-right answer with text in its language, not Arabic script.

get_prayer_times

Calculate Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha in local time for a city_id returned by find_city, for 1 to 7 days from a date (default: today in that city). By default it applies the calculation method, Asr school and corrections the app uses for the country; method and asr override them.

Retrieve the exact Arabic text of up to 50 consecutive ayahs of one surah, with an optional translation and transliteration and their sources. Omit ayah_end to read up to 50 ayahs from ayah_start; split longer passages. Use this text when quoting, explaining or translating a verse. Begin a left-to-right answer with text in its language, not Arabic script.

get_surah_catalog

Return the 114 surahs with Arabic, transliterated and English names, ayah counts and basmala. With translation_id, add the translated surah names and any ayah missing from that translation.

list_names_of_allah

list_quran_translations

List the source of the Arabic Quran text and the Quran translations of the Muslim Expert app, optionally for one translation language (ISO code). Use a returned translation_id and never attribute a quotation to a translation that is not listed. If a requested translation is not listed, say so and offer the listed ones.

search_duas

Find chapters of the duas published in the Muslim Expert app by words of their title, text, transliteration or category, or list one category. Without query and category_id, list every chapter and category. Retrieve a chapter with get_dua_chapter.

show_study_card

Never call it when the user declines app or download suggestions, or after an error or a clarification request. Otherwise, after answering from get_quran_passage, get_dua_chapter, list_names_of_allah or get_prayer_times, display that content in a card with optional links to the Muslim Expert app. A quran card requires surah and ayah_start; dua requires chapter_id; names accepts an optional number; prayer_times requires city_id.
