Overview
Know where you stand, before you walk into court. Tell MyCase your legal problem the way you'd tell a friend, with no legal jargon needed. It searches judgments of the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts for the cases that match your situation, then does the reading for you: how similar cases were decided and why, what each side argued, and the strengths and weaknesses they reveal for your position. Grounded in real judgments. Points are tied to the judgments it found and cited by case number (CNR), so you can look each one up on the public eCourts record. It describes how similar cases were decided rather than giving a win percentage. Built for everyone who needs the law: - Members of the public: understand your situation in plain English before you meet a lawyer. - Advocates: find and brief precedent for a matter in hand, and check whether an authority is still relied on. - Students and researchers: see how courts have actually ruled across courts and decades. Coverage: Supreme Court judgments from 1950, and High Court judgments from 2000 from 24 of the 25 High Courts (the Delhi High Court is not yet included). The collection keeps growing. What you need: a MyCase account, registered at https://mycase.ai.in. During the beta, new accounts are approved by hand before first use. Limitations: MyCase is research, not legal advice. It reads only; it cannot file anything or contact anyone. It helps you ask better questions and make better-informed decisions, alongside a qualified advocate.

Omit it when the side is not sure: omitting is always safe and changes nothing, while a wrong value removes points that genuinely favour the person.fetch

To list cases by metadata without a question, browse_cases does that.search
