Overview
myLebenslauf connects ChatGPT to the CV and cover letter stored in your myLebenslauf.online account. What you can do: - Ask what is currently in your CV, and have ChatGPT fill in or rewrite sections: work experience, education, skills, languages and your profile summary. - Draft or tailor a cover letter for a specific job and save it to your account. - Turn your CV or cover letter into a finished PDF in one of 6 CV templates and 2 cover-letter templates, with a preview and a download link. Every change made through ChatGPT is backed up first and can be restored in the online editor, so nothing is overwritten for good. Who it is for: applicants who send out many applications, often several a day, and want to tailor their CV and cover letter to each job description in minutes instead of rewriting them by hand. The less time each application takes, the more you can send, and the more applications you send, the more chances you have of being invited to an interview. You need a myLebenslauf account; sign in with email and password, Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn. Limitations: ChatGPT only works with your own account's CV and cover letter. It cannot send applications, contact employers or access other accounts.

ChatGPTReturn the signed-in account type, entitlement expiry and remaining duration. Use for questions about account status or how long the entitlement remains. A null expiry/duration means no known expiry, not zero remaining. No billing details or internal account roles are exposed.
get_cover_letter
ChatGPTReturn the user's currently stored cover letter (Anschreiben) fields. Call this BEFORE update_cover_letter so you can preserve/extend existing content instead of overwriting it.
get_cv
ChatGPTReturn the signed-in user's currently stored CV data (all fields). Use before updating to see what is filled in.
get_photo_upload_link
ChatGPTCreate a one-time link where the signed-in user uploads a new CV photo in their own browser. Use it when the user wants to add or replace their photo and the image cannot be attached to upload_cv_photo as a file (for example when this chat has no file attachments for tools); prefer upload_cv_photo when it can. Show the whole link to the user; it is valid for 15 minutes and works for one photo. The upload page converts to JPEG, strips metadata and keeps the previous photo in CV history. Do not open the link yourself, and ask the user to tell you when they are done.

submit_feedback
ChatGPTSend feedback, a bug report or a feature request to the myLebenslauf team, linked to the signed-in account. The message leaves the user's CV and is read by the people who run myLebenslauf. Only call this when the user explicitly asks to send feedback to myLebenslauf, and send only what they asked to send. Do not call it on your own initiative.
update_cover_letter
ChatGPTWrite or update the cover letter (Anschreiben). Only the fields you pass change — everything else is kept, so it never overwrites the whole letter. To change the letter body pass

If this chat cannot attach a file to this tool, use get_photo_upload_link instead.
