Overview
nica.vet is practice-management software for veterinary clinics. This connector lets the staff of a clinic work with their own nica.vet data from Claude, in plain language. Who it is for: clinic staff (reception, veterinarians, managers) whose clinic subscribes to a nica.vet plan that includes assistant connections. What the tools do: read the day's agenda and upcoming appointments, find customers and their pets, open a patient's profile, active alerts, service history and visits, browse the service and product catalog, and list products that sell or are used but have no replenishment policy. Two tools change data: adding a note to a customer record and booking an appointment. Three discovery tools (search, read, write) reach the other operations that the signed-in person's role allows, with the same confirmation on writes. Safety: every write is confirmed. Claude shows what it will change and asks first, and the server answers each non-reversible write with a confirmation step that you must approve before anything is saved. Every action is recorded in the clinic's audit log with the person, the connection and the request. Scoping: a connection is bound to one organization (clinic) and to the person who signed in. It sees only that clinic's data and only what that person's role permits. No sale, payment, prescription or deletion tool is listed. The three discovery tools reach the other operations the signed-in person's role allows; each non-reversible write asks for confirmation before anything is saved. Requirements: a nica.vet account with a staff role, a plan with assistant connections, and a second factor at sign-in. Documentation: https://nica.vet/ai. Support: soporte@nica.vet.
