OpsBack connects ChatGPT to your shop so you can look up customers, check jobs, and update job status without opening the dashboard. Ask which jobs are still open, what’s on file for a customer, or to mark a job completed or cancelled. Built for HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, and other field service shops already on OpsBack. Connect with a shop API key from Shop Settings.

ChatGPTGet one job by internal id (cuid), including customer contact fields, service details, and status timestamps.
list_customers
ChatGPTList all customers for the connected OpsBack shop (from jobs + CRM). Returns customerId, contact fields, job counts, tags, and latest note.
list_jobs
ChatGPTList recent jobs for the shop. Optionally filter by status. Ordered by newest first (max 100).
update_job_status
ChatGPTUpdate a job status to OPEN, IN_PROGRESS, COMPLETED, CLOSED, or CANCELLED. Setting CANCELLED also cancels active appointments and cannot be reversed through this API; it only works for OPEN/IN_PROGRESS jobs with no checked-in technician. Moving to IN_PROGRESS may fail with 409 if payment authorization is required.
