Overview

Orkestra lets you find and book appointments at local businesses that run on Orkestra: hair salons, barbershops, nail studios, spas and massage, fitness studios and personal trainers, medical clinics, auto services, pet grooming, consultants and more. Ask in plain words, for example "book a haircut in London on Saturday morning". Orkestra searches businesses in the city you name, shows their services, prices and staff, and returns only time slots that are really free in the business's own calendar. Nothing is invented. Before booking, the assistant confirms the service, date, time and your name, and asks for your phone number and email so the business can reach you. The booking goes straight into the business's calendar and the business is notified. If a business requires a deposit, you get a secure payment link and pay it yourself; the slot is held until you pay. You can also check the status of a booking, move it to another free time or cancel it, within the rules each business sets (how often and how close to the appointment a booking can be changed, and whether a deposit is refunded). Orkestra is operated by Digitalbridge IT Solutions S.R.L. Your contact details are shared only with the business you book with.

Tools

cancel_booking

ChatGPT
Cancel a booking made with create_booking, using its appointmentId, or its pendingBookingId while a deposit is unpaid, plus the statusToken returned there. The business is notified, and a paid deposit is refunded according to the business's refund policy. An appointment that has already started cannot be cancelled.

create_booking

ChatGPT
Book a confirmed slot for a customer. The slot must come from get_availability. A phone number and an email address are both required: the business uses the phone to reach the customer, and the email links the booking to the customer's Orkestra account so they see it in their booking history. If the service requires a deposit, the response contains a checkoutUrl the customer must pay to confirm; otherwise the booking is created directly. The response includes a statusToken that cancel_booking and reschedule_booking need. Confirm the service, date, time, name, phone number and email with the customer before calling this; never invent a phone number or email.

find_next_available

ChatGPT
Find the earliest bookable slots across the next few days. Use this when the customer says "as soon as possible", "this week", "any time", or gives no date. Returns the first free slots grouped by day, already filtered to bookable services. Prefer this over calling get_availability day by day.

get_availability

ChatGPT
Get free, bookable time slots for a service on a given date. Times are in the business timezone. Optionally filter by location or staff member. Only slots returned here can be booked.

get_booking_status

ChatGPT
Check the status of a booking created with create_booking, using the appointmentId or pendingBookingId plus the statusToken returned there. Use this after payment to confirm a deposit booking went through.

get_business

ChatGPT
Get full booking details for one business by slug: what kind of business it is, its description, its own photo and logo, locations, services with prices and durations, staff, timezone and currency.

list_categories

ChatGPT
Return the canonical business categories accepted by search_businesses, with English and Romanian labels. Call this when unsure which category value matches what the customer asked for.

reschedule_booking

ChatGPT
Move a confirmed booking made with create_booking to a new date and time, using its appointmentId and the statusToken returned there. Take the new time from get_availability for the same service. The business's rules apply: how many times a booking can be moved and how far ahead of the appointment.

search_businesses

ChatGPT
Find appointment-based businesses on the Orkestra network (salons, barbershops, spas, clinics, auto services and more). Results are only useful when tied to a place. Pass lat and lng when you know where the customer is: results then come back sorted by distance, and query is ignored. Otherwise pass city for the town the customer named. Pass query with a business name or the service the customer wants (for example "haircut"); matching services come back in matchedServices. Pass category for the kind of business (see list_categories for valid values). If the customer names no place, call this with category alone: it returns no businesses and the cities that have that kind of business, so you can ask which city before searching again. Only present businesses from a city the customer asked about. Each match has its slug, which every other tool needs, and the business's own photoUrl and logoUrl when it has them.
