Outset is an AI-moderated user research platform that lets you run qualitative research at scale — from study design through participant recruitment to synthesized insights. This connector gives Claude direct access to your Outset workspace so you can manage the full research lifecycle without leaving your conversation: Study management — create projects and studies, publish or unpublish them, validate readiness before launch, and duplicate existing studies as starting points. Recruitment — configure participant-facing titles and descriptions, set demographic filters, estimate audience size, launch recruitment on Prolific or UserInterviews, and expand participant counts or rewards on live studies. Interviews — list completed interviews across a study or project, retrieve full transcripts with messages and recording metadata, and access vision observations captured during screen-share sessions. Reports & insights — browse reports, search answers across participants, list category summaries, and surface topline insights and emotion observations generated by Outset's analysis pipeline. Study editor — build and modify study guides: create sections and questions, configure skip logic and display conditions, set up screeners with routing rules, add concept-testing stimuli, and configure survey quotas. Connecting requires an Outset account with an active workspace. Researchers, research managers, and admins can connect; observer roles have read-only access.
