Overview
Prepare and sign PDFs in ChatGPT with PearSign. Choose a PDF from your device and place Text, Signature, Full Name, Date and Initials fields. Type or draw your own signature and initials, review every field, and explicitly confirm before self-signing. Retrieve the completed PDF and audit trail through your PearSign document history. Need someone else’s signature? Place blank fields in chat, then continue on PearSign with the saved PDF and placements. Add recipients, check assignments, review and explicitly send on the website. Nothing is sent from chat. Use your connected account’s existing signing allowance. Supports up to 50 fields on standard, unencrypted PDFs smaller than 22 MB. Rotated or cropped signing pages are not supported. Select the file inside the editor; existing chat attachments are not imported automatically. Text fields must use characters supported by the PDF renderer; unsupported text is blocked before review.

ChatGPTUse this when the user wants someone else to sign an agreement, collect signatures, or send a document for signature. Opens the private editor with the connected account and allowance. The user selects a PDF and places Text, Signature, Full Name, Date and Initials fields in chat, then continues in PearSign with that private draft to add recipients, review and explicitly send. This tool does not send emails or collect recipients in chat.
review_signing_draft
ChatGPTPrepare an exact saved draft for explicit user review in the editor. Preparing a new review invalidates the previous review token.
save_signing_draft
ChatGPTSave the PDF selected in the private editor. Updating an existing draft replaces its saved content and clears its previous review.
sign_reviewed_draft
ChatGPTPermanently certify the reviewed draft and use one envelope only after the user explicitly confirms consent in the editor. Retrying the same completed draft does not use another envelope.
signing_account
ChatGPTUse this when the user wants to electronically sign their own PDF, sign an agreement themselves, or check their PearSign allowance. Opens the private signing editor with their connected account. The user chooses the PDF, places their signature, reviews and explicitly confirms. Does not send to other recipients.
