Overview

PickleCourts finds pickleball, padel, and badminton court rentals at clubs and public facilities across the US cities PickleCourts covers. Ask Claude for courts near a city, neighborhood, zip code, or venue name, and it can list nearby venues with addresses, court counts, indoor or outdoor courts, and whether each one books on PickleCourts. For a specific venue, or for every venue in a city, Claude can check open court times on a date for the length of play you want, with the price of each slot in the venue's local time. Each open time comes with a booking link that opens PickleCourts checkout with that exact court and time already selected, so you finish the booking on PickleCourts. No account or sign-in is needed to search. Coverage is limited to the cities PickleCourts serves, and when a place is not covered Claude names the nearest covered cities. Some listed venues take bookings only through the venue itself; Claude says when that is the case. Example prompts: - Find a pickleball court in Oklahoma City tomorrow at 6pm. - Where can I play indoor pickleball near Brooklyn this Saturday morning? - What times are open at Chicken N Pickle on Friday evening for 90 minutes?

Claude

Books the court from prepare_booking and charges the user's saved card (or places a hold for request-to-book venues). Call only after the user explicitly confirmed that exact booking and total in this conversation. Each confirmation_token books at most once.

find_availability_by_region

Claude

Use this when the user wants any open court in a city on a date and has not picked a venue. Finds court rental availability across published venues in one PickleCourts city or metro region for one local calendar date. Use a region UUID, slug, or name. Results are bounded and sorted by earliest time and price. Each slot carries a booking_url that opens PickleCourts checkout for that exact time.

Use this when the user wants open court times at a specific venue. Finds requested-duration court rental start times at one published PickleCourts venue on one venue-local date. Use a venue UUID, slug, or name. Prices are USD cents; results include local and UTC times. Each slot carries a booking_url that opens PickleCourts checkout for that exact time.

Use this when the user asks about their upcoming PickleCourts bookings or wants to check a booking just made.

prepare_booking

Claude

Use this when the user wants to book a specific open court time. Re-checks the slot and returns the exact court, local time, total price, and the saved card that would be charged, plus a confirmation_token. This does not book or charge anything. Show the summary to the user and ask them to confirm before calling book_court.

search_venues

Claude

Use this when the user wants to find a place to play pickleball near a city, neighborhood, zip code, venue name, or coordinates. Returns published PickleCourts venues with address, distance, court counts, and whether they can be booked through PickleCourts.
