Pingcoin

By Pingcoin

Overview

Assess gold and silver coins by their ring or ping sound. Pingcoin checks its current catalog, helps clarify the exact metal, weight and variant, then opens a preselected tester for recording or upload. Supported coins update automatically from Pingcoin’s API. Results are acoustic matches or inconclusive tests; sound alone cannot prove authenticity.

Tools

analyze_recorded_audio

ChatGPT

Analyze the recording explicitly submitted in the Pingcoin interface. Processes audio in memory and discards it after analysis.

open_coin_verifier

ChatGPT

Open Pingcoin’s interactive verifier. The user selects an exact coin and records or uploads a short ping. Microphone availability depends on the ChatGPT host; file selection remains available.

search_coins

ChatGPT

Check the current Pingcoin catalog for a gold or silver coin the user wants to assess by its ring or ping sound, including questions about whether a coin is real or genuine. Returns supported references, variant clarification, spelling suggestions, or no supported match. This checks test availability, not authenticity. Use the live catalog rather than a static list; coin coverage changes.

verify_coin_recording

ChatGPT

Analyze a user-attached coin ping against the exact selected coin’s three reference frequencies. Accepts WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC, Ogg or WebM up to 15 seconds and 12 MB. The plugin server downloads and processes the recording transiently; audio is not stored. Returns acoustic match or inconclusive, not proof of authenticity.
