ExpenseBot turns ChatGPT into a full expense-management workflow for freelancers, accountants, real-estate agents, and small business owners. Drop a receipt photo or PDF in chat and AI extracts vendor, amount, date, tax, and category, then writes the row to your Google Sheet within 30 seconds. Ask "how much did I spend on travel last quarter, broken down by client" and get a per-tag P&L with revenue, cost, profit, and margin. Build a Q1 expense report and have ChatGPT email it to your accountant. Tools fall into scope-gated categories the user explicitly approves during the OAuth consent flow: read expenses, submit expenses (photos, PDFs, cash, mileage, income), scan Gmail for missed receipts, read reports, write reports, and run compliance and tax-deductibility checks. While ExpenseBot can scan Gmail (with the user's explicit OAuth consent), Gmail is one of many input paths. The app's primary value is the analytics, reporting, and tax tooling that operates on the user's own categorized expense data. The ChatGPT app does not sell anything and processes no payment.
