Overview

CopyCharm is a context workbench for saving and reusing prompts, notes, favorite clips, and curated working context. With this ChatGPT integration, existing CopyCharm users can access selected CopyCharm items directly within ChatGPT. Instead of manually copying and pasting the same background information, project notes, or templates into each chat, users can ask ChatGPT to find and retrieve the exact context they need. This integration only accesses items that have been intentionally made available for AI Access in CopyCharm. It does not provide ChatGPT with access to a user's broader workspace or general clipboard history.

Fetch the full text for one CopyCharm search result by id. Use this only when search/list_recent metadata and snippets are insufficient. For normal questions, fetch at most 3 items total. Never fetch sequentially just to be thorough. Avoid full-text fetching unless the user explicitly asks for detailed, exhaustive, audit, evidence-backed, or full-context analysis.

List recent AI-accessible CopyCharm clips and saved prompts without requiring a search query. Use ONLY when the user asks for recent/latest items, today's notes, the last copied items, or vague recall. Do not use this as a warmup before search. DEFAULT TO QUICK MODE: read the top 3 items first and avoid broad recent browsing unless the user asks for deep or exhaustive review.

DEFAULT TO QUICK MODE for normal user questions: run exactly one search, use the top 3 relevant results first, and answer from returned metadata/snippets when possible. Do not run follow-up searches unless the first results are clearly irrelevant. Do not fetch full items unless the preview/snippet is insufficient. Use deeper retrieval only when the user explicitly asks for detailed, exhaustive, audit, evidence-backed, or full-context analysis. Supports scope, prefer, and days; also infers recent, favorite, saved-prompt, and exact intent from natural-language query text.
