Overview

Practice for the PMP® certification with timed mock exams inside ChatGPT. Ask for 10, 30, or 180 questions. A panel opens with a countdown at the real exam pace (180 questions in 240 minutes), one question at a time, four answer choices, a flag button, and a navigator to jump to any question. Long exams open full screen. ChatGPT writes original, scenario based questions in batches of 10. Each exam follows the domain weights of the PMP exam outline in effect from July 2026: People 33%, Process 41%, and Business Environment 26%, with about 60% of questions set in agile or hybrid projects. The panel shows answers and explanations after you submit. After you submit, the panel shows your overall score and a bar for each domain, marks every question right or wrong, and shows the explanation. ChatGPT then walks you through the questions you missed and helps you practice your weakest domain. If a question looks wrong, use Report this question so we can review it. Who it is for: people preparing for the PMP exam who want realistic, timed practice and a clear view of their weak areas. Limitations: questions are written by ChatGPT, are not real exam questions, and can contain mistakes. A practice score does not predict your result on the real exam. Exams are kept for 30 days and there are no accounts, so history does not carry over between chats. PMP is a registered mark of the Project Management Institute, Inc. Tools

add_exam_questions

ChatGPT
Adds the next batch of up to 10 questions to a practice exam that is in progress. The batch must match the domain and approach mix that start_practice_exam or the previous add_exam_questions call asked for. Write original, scenario based questions in the style of the PMP exam. Never copy questions from a real exam or a prep book. Each question has one best answer and three plausible distractors. Tag its domain (people, process, business_environment) and its approach (predictive, agile, hybrid). Spread the correct answers across A to D. The explanation says why the answer is best and why the strongest distractor is wrong, in one to three sentences. If the batch is rejected, fix the listed problems and send the same batch number again.

get_exam_results

ChatGPT
Read only. Returns the score per domain and every missed question with the person's answer, the correct answer, and the explanation, after the exam was submitted or its time ran out. A time-up score is computed from the saved answers and is not saved by this call. Use it to explain misses and to suggest practice for the weakest domain.

get_exam_state

ChatGPT
Used by the exam panel to load questions that were added after it opened. Read only. Returns questions without answers while the exam is in progress. After a submit, or when time ran out, it includes answers and a score; a time-up score is computed from saved answers and not saved.

report_question

ChatGPT
Records that a practice question looks wrong or unclear so byGMV can review it. Use when the person reports a problem with a question in their practice exam.

save_answers

ChatGPT
Used by the exam panel to save the person's current answers and flags while the exam is in progress, so a reopened panel or a timed-out exam keeps them. Ignored after submit.

show_practice_exam

ChatGPT
Shows the panel for an existing practice exam again, for example to continue it or to review a submitted result. Read only: it never changes the exam or its timer. If time ran out before a submit, it shows a score computed from the saved answers without saving it. The panel then saves the result through submit_practice_exam.

start_practice_exam

ChatGPT
Starts a timed PMP practice exam of 10, 30, or 180 questions and shows the exam panel with a countdown at the real exam pace (180 questions in 240 minutes). Include the first batch of 10 questions you wrote, matching batch 1: 10 questions (3 People, 4 Process, 3 Business Environment), 6 agile or hybrid and 4 predictive. Use when the person asks for a PMP practice or mock exam. Do not reveal correct answers in chat before the person submits.

submit_practice_exam

ChatGPT
Used by the exam panel when the person submits or time runs out. Scores the exam per domain using the answers sent, or the saved answer for any question sent without one, and returns the answers and explanations. Submitting again returns the first result.
