Overview
Pointscape is a point cloud viewer for iPad and iPhone used by surveyors, scanning firms, BIM teams and contractors. This connector lets Claude work on your scans the way a colleague would: it reads the cloud, measures it and proposes findings you confirm in the app. What Claude can do • Browse your projects and open a scan: size, point count, coordinate system, classes, existing measurements, issues and notes. • Read points by octree node and level, render top, front, side, isometric or any custom view, and move the camera on your iPad while you watch. • Find the floor slab and check it against a tolerance, fit planes, segment regions, grow selections and compare scan stations for registration drift. • Propose measurements, issues, notes, labels and classification fixes. Every write arrives in Pointscape as a proposal you confirm or discard; nothing changes without you. • Confirmed findings land in the project's PDF report. Packaged workflows appear in Claude's "+" menu: Measure floor flatness, Check registration between scan stations, Clean up a scan's classification, Trim a scan to a site boundary, Find gaps in scan coverage, Fly or walk the camera through a scan. How it works Cloud scans are reachable any time. Scans on your iPad are reachable while the app is open and you have turned on "Let AI read this scan" for them. Pointscape runs no AI model of its own; rendered views, numeric summaries and sample points go only to the Claude account you connected. Requirements A Pointscape account on a plan with AI (Pro + AI or Cloud + AI), available in the app under Settings, Subscription. Free download on the App Store.
