Poolday is an AI video editing platform. With this plugin you brief the Poolday agent from the chat and it does the production work in your Poolday workspace: scripting, footage, voiceover, music, captions, brand kits and rendering. A task runs for minutes in the background. The plugin shows it in a live panel with its status, any question the agent needs answered, and the finished video or image outputs with links to open them in Poolday. You can follow up on a task with a change ("make it 15 seconds", "use the second voice"), answer the agent's questions from the chat, find earlier tasks, and drop files from your computer into the panel so a task can use them. Media already in your Poolday library can be referenced in a brief, and links to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or web pages are fetched by Poolday. Connecting asks you to sign in to Poolday and pick one workspace; everything the plugin does happens in that workspace, as you, within your workspace's permissions and credits.
start_task when the user wants to use a local file, then pass the returned asset references in the brief (or, after they upload, reference the files by name). Files go to Poolday Review's Poolday library.get_task). If the question has an answerSchema, send answer as a JSON object matching it; otherwise send the user's reply as text. Set skip: true if the user wants Poolday to decide.asset:<id> reference.message once the task is no longer working. Call this when the user asks how it is going. Do not poll in a loop. If status is needs_input, relay question to the user and send their reply with answer_question, or share questionUrl to answer it in Poolday.get_task.answer_question for questions. Same asset:<id>, link and attachment rules as start_task. Uses workspace credits.get_task when they ask. Write the brief as you would for a skilled editor: goal, audience, length, format and aspect ratio, tone, and must-haves. Reference media already in the Poolday library as asset:<id>. Paste any links (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, web pages) into the brief; Poolday fetches them. For files the user gave you, pass them in attachments. Poolday uses workspace credits.Click any prompt to copy it.
